Ruidoso Downs Race Track in New Mexico has signed a multi-year betting services agreement for live racing with AmTote International, a product of 1/ST TECHNOLOGY – horse racing’s largest and most innovative racing and gaming company, and the leading wagering technology company in the US.
Ruidoso Downs is the state and regional leader for on-track attendance and betting handle, so this robust investment in its on-track technology – implemented during the recent off-season – brings new technology to the track, enhancing the betting experience for all in-venue customers. The Ruidoso Downs racecourse begins its summer racing season over Memorial Day Weekend when live racing starts on Friday, May 28. The 2021 season spans 15 weeks for a total of 47 days of live Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racing.
The technology upgrade features V3000e self-serve terminals, which offer users an intuitive and rich graphical interface, alongside the F3000e teller and self-serve convertible terminal. In addition, mobile betting through AmTote’s MBet platform will also be deployed at Ruidoso Downs. The infield and indoor tote boards will accordingly be reconfigured with the latest LED indication.

1/ST Launches Full Suite Venue App, Including an Integrated Wagering Experience for Horse Racing Fans at Gulfstream Park, Developed with Everi

Everi Holdings Inc in an agreement with 1/ST, North America’s preeminent Thoroughbred horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering company, announced the launch of their new mobile app and wagering experience, Gulfstream Racing.
The new Gulfstream Racing App is now available in the Apple App Store. This launch is part of Everi’s strategic expansion into Sports and Entertainment following its acquisition of Venuetize in 2023 and expands the company’s footprint in the horse racing segment. Gulfstream Racing will be a valuable companion app for guests seeking the premier hospitality experience that 1/ST provides.
Phase I of the app launch includes traditional venue app features – ticketing, dining reservations, promotions, race schedules, push and messaging – and a 1/ST designed in-app horse wagering experience to allow fans to place win, place and show bets. The app utilizes Everi’s BeOn Mobile platform and digital CashClub Wallet technology to facilitate a cashless wagering option in the app for fans on-site.
The app launched ahead of the 2025 Pegasus World Cup, South Florida’s leading luxury sports and lifestyle event, which took place on Saturday, January 25, at Gulfstream Park. In addition to Gulfstream Park, Everi and 1/ST will soon roll out a venue app for the renowned Santa Anita Park, including an expansion of the horse wagering and wallet funding experiences, as part of Phase II of this mobile deployment.

PointsBet and 1/ST TECHNOLOGY Announce Partnership to Grow Horse Racing in the United States

Premier Turf Club, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of PointsBet USA Inc., today announced a partnership agreement with 1/ST TECHNOLOGY, a business division of The Stronach Group (“TSG”), North America’s dominant Thoroughbred horse racing company. The agreement encompasses 1/ST’s broad portfolio of products and services including 1/ST BET, Xpressbet, Monarch Content Management, and AmTote International. 1/ST Technology’s AmTote, Xpressbet, and 1/ST BET brands are world leaders in pari-mutuel tote and ADW technologies.
Key features of the deal include:
- PointsBet and 1/ST Technology will collaborate on integration and launch of the one-of-a-kind 1/ST BET online horse wagering product in US jurisdictions where Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) is permitted.
- Deeply aligns the companies and drives vertical integration across key components of ADW – product, tote, and content management – serving to enrich the PointsBet offering and introduce new bettors to American horseracing.
- Racing customers of 1/ST TECHNOLOGY’s currently operated brands, Xpressbet and 1/ST BET, will be introduced to the world of Sports Betting and iCasino via PointsBet products through this unique marketing partnership.
The agreement encompasses a wide range of services and synergies across the companies which is set to deliver a fully integrated, white-label horse betting experience to PointsBet customers. The partnership marks the first time in the United States that a tier-one sports betting company and horse racing company have aligned to power an independently owned and licensed ADW operator.
