Mudstack makes life better for digital artists and game studios with the launch of its unique new asset management platform

Officially launched today, Mudstack is a first-of-its-kind Digital Asset Management (DAM) system specifically for game studios and digital artists who increasingly need to work collaboratively across multiple projects, locations, and even timezones. The Mudstack platform combines cloud storage, artist-friendly version control, and an integrated review and feedback feature. Itallows art teams to rapidly increase their pace of iteration and progress, wasting less time hunting for files and feedback and wondering which version is the right one for any given file.
Founder Jordan Stevens explained why the team felt there was a need for a platform like Mudstack. âDigital art teams face a unique set of challenges when it comes to producing, managing, and reviewing assets. Their use of multiple tools often results in a disconnect between the various stages of a project, and as companies expand, this situation becomes more complex. Cheaper solutions that once worked fail at scale, leading to significant productivity loss and delayed launches that can cost over six figures.â
Canadian-based VR Vision develops VR-based training solutions for enterprises, and it found that Mudstack made an immediate difference. âWe struggled to scale our pipeline once our development team quickly grew from a single developer to ten. Sharing assets on a local network drive or Google Drive can be tedious, especially for iterating and making changes. We needed a version control solution for assets so we could still access the old asset if a change happened accidentally. Mudstack has solved this through its ability to create workspaces per project, isolating the clutter happening in one place with the ability to add tags and libraries that sit on top of folder structures, with non-destructive file-based versioning,â said Karan Sharma, Art Manager at VR Vision.
Mudstack is free for anyone to start using and collaborating across teams, giving unlimited users the ability to collaboratively view files. Paid plans start at $19/mo per admin user and include unlimited artists, 4TB+ cloud storage, and access controls.
Mudstack has been developing its platform in close partnership with both indie and AA game studios, ensuring the tool meets their needs, improves efficiency and productivity, and puts artistsâ needs at the forefront of its design. No other platform combines features that allow digital artists to onboard an existing project in a matter of hours, streamline workflows, and easily integrate collaboration. Its key features include:

-
Preview 3D files (FBX, OBJ, GLTF) without downloading and opening

Independent evaluation highlights impact of Ygamâs parent programme

Â
An independent evaluation has provided compelling evidence that Ygamâs work is effectively equipping families with the tools and knowledge to safeguard children from gaming and gambling harms.
The evaluation report, conducted by Sherbert Research, examined Ygamâs programme tailored for parents and carers, which includes online workshops, resources, and the Family Hub website.
The evaluation, assessed against Ygamâs comprehensive Theory of Change, found âstrong evidence across all groupsâ of increased understanding of gaming and gambling harms and their impact on behaviour change and the wellbeing of children and young people. It also highlighted that parents regard Ygam as a trusted source of support and information on these subjects.
After attending a Ygam workshop, parents expressed a deeper understanding of their role in supporting children and young people on these issues. The workshops were credited with reducing stigma around gaming and gambling harms and encouraging greater engagement from families. Many parents reported proactively understanding the risks and feeling empowered to start conversations with their children about gaming and gambling, putting boundaries in place before harm occurs.
While parents and professionals are increasingly aware of the risks associated with gaming, fewer recognise childrenâs potential exposure to gambling and gambling-like features, along with the related harms. The report reinforces that Ygamâs work plays a vital role in closing this critical knowledge gap through awareness raising, offering effective safeguarding tools, and providing the guidance and support required to create a safer digital home environment.
The programme was also commended for shifting perceptions around video gaming and microtransactions. They described taking immediate proactive steps such as adjusting screen time, understanding app spending, and setting clearer rules around their childâs online habits.
One parent who took part in the evaluation said: âAfter the session, I checked my sonâs gaming account and realised he had spent over ÂŁ200 on in-game purchases. We talked about it, and Iâve now set up parental controls.â
The high quality and standard of Ygamâs educational content was also praised by parents, with many describing it as âone of the bestâ workshops they had attended for addressing a topical and complex issue, and for delivering accessible knowledge that supports real-life action.
Another parent said: â A friend mentioned Ygam after I shared concerns about my sonâs gaming habits. She had been on the course and said it had really helped her understand how to manage screen timeâ.
Claire Patel, Programme Lead for the Parents and Carers programme at Ygam, said: âWe welcome the findings of this evaluation, which highlight the widespread and meaningful difference our programme is making for families. Parents and carers know their children better than anyone, and they have a crucial role to play â but they consistently tell us they often feel under-informed in todayâs fast-moving digital world. We remain committed to listening to families and providing the information and tools they need to promote healthy habits and safeguard their children from potential harms.â
The evaluation was informed by interviews and video diaries from parents, foster carers, and professionals who attended Ygam workshops between 2023 and 2024.
All recommendations for improvement will be incorporated into the ongoing review and development of Ygamâs programmes to ensure they remain as effective and impactful as possible.

GR8 Tech Launched the Championâs Playbook for High-Performance iGaming Brands

Â
When ESPN Bet crashed during 26% of March Madness game time, it proved what heavyweight operators already know: that level of downtime is unthinkableâand expensive. When youâre processing millions of bets during a single event, every second of uptime and every millisecond of speed directly impact your bottom line.
Thatâs why GR8 Tech created the Championâs Playbook for High Performanceâdistilling lessons from processing billions of bets per year into a tactical guide for operators who refuse to accept âgood enough.â
Inside the guide, operators will discover:
- Three pillars of high performance: the non-negotiable standards for uptime, speed, and scalability that separate champions from contendersâplus the specific benchmarks that matter.
- From heavyweight performance to champion experiences: how to transform solid infrastructure into engaging, personalized player experiences while protecting margins from churn and fraud.
- A hard-hitting due diligence checklist: ready-made questions to evaluate your current provider or efficiently eliminate unsuitable candidates from your shortlist.
âAfter hundreds of conversations with operators, I know exactly whatâs broken in the industry. The checklist cuts through the sales pitch to the questions that actually matter. Use it on any provider, including GR8 Tech. The answers will separate the real heavyweights from the pretenders,â says Yevhen Krazhan, CSO at GR8 Tech.
Why this matters now
The iGaming landscape demands excellence. Players expect 24/7 availability, lightning-fast responses, and experiences that feel built just for them. Meanwhile, 70% of businesses struggle with poor data quality, and mobile users abandon sites that take longer than 3 seconds to load. In this environment, technical mediocrity isnât just disappointingâitâs expensive.
Ready to perform like a true iGaming heavyweight?
Download the Championâs Playbook and start building your path to high-performance dominance.
