Fantasyexpo has become a strategic business partner of PGL
The gaming agency Fantasyexpo has become a strategic business partner of PGL and will represent it in establishing marketing cooperation related to the most important CS: GO tournament in 2021 – PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
PGL Major Stockholm 2021 is the most important CS:GO event in history, with the largest prize pool ever. Twenty-four teams from around the globe will compete for the title of the best squad in the world and for a prize pool of $2,000,000. The event will take place at the turn of October and November 2021.
According to a signed agreement by both sides, Fantasyexpo became the official marketing and business agency of the PGL. The company will be responsible for the full process of servicing and acquiring advertising clients. The agency received the exclusive right to represent the tournament organizer in establishing cooperation with potential sponsors.
The Polish gaming agency has completed a number of excellent activations in the area of gaming for brands such as Old Spice and KFC. Fantasyexpo’s extensive portfolio includes many regional tournaments, a growing number of tier two international events, and broadcasts from several past Majors. For the brands that decide to enter into an advertising partnership at PGL Major, Fantasyexpo has prepared many creative solutions, also offers consulting and advisory services to jointly create unique branded content that will attract, engage and evoke emotions in the audience. One of the new solutions planned by Fantasyexpo is ADditional Major Show – an event inspired by the Super Bowl halftime show. Thus, the agency introduces a new advertising format to the electronic sports market, increasing the possibilities of brand exposure around the most important esports games in the world.
Collaboration of this caliber is the best recognition for many years of our contribution to the esports scene. We have known each other with PGL for a long time, so we are very pleased that we can take our partnership to the next level. As their business partner, we will try to ensure that the cooperation will result in the acquisition of the most attractive partners.
- Krzysztof Stypułkowski, Co-founder of Fantasyexpo
“PGL MAJOR STOCKHOLM 2021 is going to be the biggest CS:GO event ever, and we must deliver an incredible show for the viewers and the clients. We decided to partner with Fantasyexpo, an agency that we trust with a solid history in esports, to materialize our ideas and activations. We cannot wait to show the world what we have prepared for this fantastic event.”
- Silviu Stroie, CEO PGL
The marketing potential of esports is growing at an incredible rate. The global income of the esports industry in 2020 was $950 million, and according to preliminary forecasts, by the end of 2021, esport will break the billion-dollar barrier for the first time in history. The vast majority of this sum is made up of money from sponsorships and other marketing activities. Of the 500 million viewers of electronic sports, 50% qualify themselves as avid enthusiasts of the sport. This number is expected to grow by 9% every year, but the group is not only naturally growing, but also maturing – almost half of the esports viewers are people between 25 and 44 years old.
These numbers are a prime example that esports marketing activities can be a great investment for every brand. This is reflecting in the actions of various companies over the last two decades – after years of domination of typically endemic brands in the world of electronic sports, non-endemic brands appear and are increasingly boldly involved. However, in order for their marketing campaigns to be noticeable and effective, they must be created by industry specialists. Fantasyexpo meets these needs.

Brazilian Carnival
Esportes da Sorte transforms Carnival 2026 into a nationwide immersive experience
Leading Brazilian iGaming company Esportes da Sorte has transformed Carnival 2026 into a nationwide immersive experience, activating urban art installations, hydration stations and large‑scale attractions across nine cities in Brazil. As part of its expanded cultural engagement strategy, the brand is serving as an official sponsor in key Carnival locations and delivering experiential initiatives designed for revelers in the streets and major public spaces.
Esportes da Sorte’s nationwide platform builds on its history of investing in popular culture and public events, moving beyond traditional branding to create meaningful on‑site activations that enhance the urban environment and respond to the unique character of each city’s Carnival celebrations.
In Rio de Janeiro, the company’s efforts focus on the street Carnival experience with hydration points, cool zones and shaded areas in high‑traffic celebration routes. São Paulo’s megabloc circuits feature water trucks, hydration stations and on‑site urban support.
In Recife Antigo, one of Carnival’s cultural centers, Esportes da Sorte installed a standout Ferris wheel at Marco Zero, offering panoramic views of the festivities and historic landscape. Urban transformations like video mapping on iconic buildings and aerial installations along Rua Marquês de Olinda further blend public space with the Carnival experience.
Other cities such as Olinda and Salvador also feature tailored activations, including sensory design, refreshment tunnels and themed artistic displays that align with local traditions and festival dynamics.
In addition to physical structures, the initiative includes a robust communications strategy, sensory activations, public well‑being supports and content campaigns that amplify the carnival‑street experience across digital and traditional media.
According to Germana Casal, Production Coordinator at the Esportes Gaming Brasil Group, the goal is to “be present in a meaningful way at the country’s biggest popular celebration,” respecting each city’s identity and delivering initiatives that improve the Carnival experience for participants.
Esportes da Sorte’s Carnival 2026 project builds on the brand’s presence at more than 100 Carnival parties and street blocos in 2025, reinforcing its leadership role in Brazil’s largest cultural event and deepening its connection with urban celebration culture nationwide.
