As the 2024 UEFA Super Cup approaches, Atlaslive Sportsbook is gearing up to offer sports betting fans everything they need to fully enjoy this much-anticipated event. Known for its innovative approach, Atlaslive is dedicated to helping operators increase engagement and drive success both before and during the game.
On August 14 in Warsaw, football fans around the world will be glued to their screens as Real Madrid takes on Atalanta in a match that promises to be nothing short of spectacular. This battle between the Champions League and Europa League winners is always packed with drama and top-tier football, and this year is no exception.
The UEFA Super Cup has a reputation for creating unforgettable memories. Think back to 2019 when Liverpool edged out Chelsea in a nerve-wracking penalty shootout, or 2014 when Cristiano Ronaldo’s brilliance led Real Madrid to victory. Moments like these keep fans coming back for more, and Atlaslive Sportsbook is ready to make the experience even more exciting this time around.
This year, bettors will find a host of new and exciting options on Atlaslive’s Platform, including live betting and a variety of markets that will keep the action going from start to finish. With these features, the 2024 UEFA Super Cup is set to be an even bigger thrill.
Boosting Betting Activity During the UEFA Super Cup
Football continues to dominate the world of sports betting, especially during high-profile events like the UEFA Super Cup. This is a prime time for operators to ramp up their promotions and engage more players. Here are some straightforward strategies and tools that can make a big difference.
One effective approach is to share event-related content across different channels. Posting interesting facts about the teams — Real Madrid and Atalanta — and the match itself helps to build trust with players. For broader reach, it’s crucial to focus on eye-catching promotional materials and banners, especially on your casino page. Atlaslive Sportsbook’s CMS feature is a powerful tool that allows operators to customize every detail directly from the back office, making it easy to add relevant banners and stand out during peak betting times.
For those who love betting, Atlaslive’s Bet Builder is a fantastic feature. It lets users combine different bets from the same match, giving them a chance to win more by taking on a bit more risk.
Atlaslive also offers robust technical capabilities, including the ability to manage language settings based on the player’s location. With support for over 50 languages and content tailored to specific markets, operators can attract a larger audience. Geo-targeted offers can also encourage players to support their national teams, enhancing their betting experience.
If you run both casino and sportsbook projects, you can keep casino players engaged with sports betting by using email newsletters and promotions ahead of big sports events. This approach not only maintains player interest but can also boost overall performance. Atlaslive’s CRM tools make it easy to automate these processes, ensuring timely and relevant communication.
Offering daily bonuses and free bets for key matches is a smart strategy to keep bettors active during the event. And when it comes to re-engaging inactive players, welcome-back bonuses can be particularly effective.
With the right strategy, the UEFA Super Cup period is a golden opportunity to boost activity across both sports betting and casino platforms.
Reliability When It Counts
The Atlaslive Platform is designed to handle the high demand that comes with major sporting events like the UEFA Super Cup, boasting an impressive 99.9% uptime. This means players can enjoy a seamless, uninterrupted experience from start to finish.
Operators benefit from the Platform’s advanced technical capabilities, which allow real-time monitoring of bets, customization of margins, setting of limits, and management of delays across any sport, league, or event. Plus, the Platform’s ability to smoothly switch between live and pre-match events ensures that both operators and players have a flexible, reliable, and responsive experience.
With all these features, Atlaslive Sportsbook is well-equipped to provide a top-tier betting experience, making the UEFA Super Cup 2024 even more thrilling for sports fans everywhere.

Chris Christie
Chris Christie bets on Texas to approve OSB in 2025
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has backed Texas to legalise online sports betting in the state’s next legislative session.
Christie helped pave the way for sports betting liberalisation across the US by bringing the Supreme Court case that led to the repeal of PASPA.
The case was fought and won by prominent conservative lawyer Ted Olson, who Christie hired to argue the case for states to make their own decisions on sports betting. Olson died last week at the age of 84.
After Missouri became the 39th US state to legalise sports betting in some capacity, attention has quickly turned again to the big three states of Texas, California, and Florida.
“I think it’ll happen in Texas in the next legislative session,” said Christie, speaking to Covers.com. The next session is due to commence in Texas on January 14, 2025.
Christie is less confident about California, however, where competing sports betting ballots failed in 2022 amid a bitter dispute and lobbying war between online operators and local tribes.
California is seen as essential to the future prospects of US sports betting operators, given its size and wealth and dramatic impact on the country’s total addressable market (TAM).
“I don’t know about California,” said Christie. “This really takes gubernatorial leadership, and Gavin Newsom has got to decide if this is one of the issues he wants to lead on.
“Without gubernatorial leadership, the legislature won’t do it because they’re pulled like taffy in too many directions by too many different interests. Without the governor pushing for it, I just don’t think it’ll happen.”
Despite another potential setback in California, Christie has backed sports betting to penetrate pretty much every state eventually.
“I really believe sports betting is inevitable to go just about nationwide, because people in America love their sports, they just do,” he said. “I think it is in the leagues’ best interests to grow their audience. The government gets some piece of the pie out of that which they enjoy, and the public seems to be pretty happy for the most part.”
Depending on expansion, US sports betting could, in theory, reach every state. It would then become a national issue, but Christie has warned the federal government not to interfere.
“Let the states handle it,” he said. “The states are doing fine. You haven’t heard of anything awful or irreversible happening since each state has been involved and they should have the ability to decide whether they want gambling or not.
“I don’t think the federal government should have anything to do with it and I don’t think they ever should have. I don’t think they have to be babysitters for the governors of the country.”
