Stats Perform and Associated Press Extend Partnership
Stats Perform has agreed to an extension of its relationship to distribute sports news from The Associated Press.
The extension means publishers and digital sports apps can effortlessly obtain Stats Perform’s advanced Opta sports data and AP’s trusted sports journalism, images, and headshots via a single point of delivery.
AP’s editorial content and Opta’s sports data are simple to connect, creating a powerful one-stop sports content shop.
“This partnership means publishers can easily link the latest news, images, previews and recaps for all major US leagues to contextual Opta stats and insights, to keep their audiences engaged more often, for longer. It streamlines how publishers access and connect sports data, news and images so they can create richer experiences for fans, with less effort,” Alex Rice, Chief Commercial Officer at Stats Perform, said.
“It’s exciting we’re able to continue to power the sports media marketplace with a combination of insightful data and first-class journalism. Our clients can easily build exceptional products with vast storytelling coverage. It is a big win for anyone wanting to engage sports fans with the best content,” Matt Tozer, VP – News at Stats Perform, said.
