Fubo Gaming Secures Market Access for Mobile Sports Betting in Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri

Fubo Gaming has announced that it has secured market access agreements for Fubo Sportsbook in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Missouri through Caesars Entertainment Inc, bringing the company’s total to 10 states.

The agreements provide statewide mobile access for sports betting, with the launch of Fubo Sportsbook subject to obtaining requisite regulatory approvals and, in certain jurisdictions, enactment of legislation.

This marks Fubo Gaming’s second round of market access deals with Caesars Entertainment Inc, following its New Jersey and Indiana agreement in March 2021. Additional market access deals include Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Caesars Entertainment Inc. and the National Hockey League (NHL) announced a renewal of their US partnership. The new, multiyear partnership extension retains Caesars’ status as a Sports Betting and Gaming Partner of the NHL and, for the first time, provides Caesars Digital with access to League-owned intellectual property to build and promote NHL-branded iCasino games for its online casino platforms in North America, including the recently launched Caesars Palace Online Casino.

This renewed agreement also provides access to VIP experiences for members of the industry-leading customer loyalty program, Caesars Rewards, and opportunities for visibility for Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Rewards on national NHL broadcasts of Stanley Cup Playoff games in select Caesars markets. Additionally, Caesars will enjoy continued use of NHL team logos and imagery on the Caesars Sportsbook app and access to League Alumni and the Stanley Cup for appearances.

Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced an agreement to acquire the operations of WynnBET’s Michigan iGaming business and a long-term extension of iGaming market access rights with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, subject to regulatory approvals.

As part of the transaction, Caesars gains access to the Sault Tribe’s iGaming skins, enabling Caesars to operate additional digital brands in Michigan, and existing WynnBET customers will be transitioned to Caesars’ Michigan iGaming platform, pending regulatory approvals. Wynn and Caesars will receive non-cash consideration, including extinguishment, reductions, and assignment of certain contractual obligations related to both parties’ businesses.

Caesars intends to transition the WynnBET iCasino operations in Michigan later this year to one of the flagship gaming brands within the Caesars portfolio.

Caesars Entertainment and Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Expand Relationship to Offer Mobile Sports Betting Throughout North Carolina

Mobile sports wagering is on its way to North Carolina, and Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced an expansion of its relationship with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians to bring the Company’s flagship sports wagering platform online in the Tar Heel State for the launch of legalized mobile sports wagering. The agreement furthers the partnership, granting Caesars Sportsbook with mobile sports betting market access via a license held by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise, subject to all required regulatory approvals.

Caesars Sportsbook intends to go live with mobile sports wagering when North Carolina launches online sports betting on March 11, 2024. Ahead of the official launch, the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app will begin accepting sign-ups and deposits starting on March 1.

The launch builds on the success of the two in-person Caesars Sportsbook locations at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, N.C., and Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel in Murphy, N.C. As part of the expanded relationship, Caesars Sportsbook will have exclusive rights to mobile sports wagering at the two casinos and on Eastern Band of Cherokee tribal lands in western North Carolina.
