Twain Sport marks Africa growth with Hollywoodbets partnership

Twain Sport, the newly launched live sport vertical from the Hybrid Sports League and BetGames, has extended its presence in Africa thanks to an agreement with tier one operator, Hollywoodbets.
The deal gives Hollywoodbets’ players access to Twain Sport’s revolutionary hybrid sport product and will be available in the leading South African market, as well as in other African countries where the popular brand operates.
The launch is set to meet the increased demand for live sport products, with high-frequency entertainment popular with next-gen players, as Twain Sport’s success proves.
BetGames, which is powering Twain Sport’s launch, already enjoys an established relationship with the high-profile operator and a strong, wider foothold across regulated African markets and this relationship has proven crucial in Twain Sport’s impressive launch.
Twain Sport’s debut offering, T-Basket, delivers head-to-head basketball tournaments every hour, with a match every three minutes, totalling 6 300 matches monthly.
African bettors now have a wealth of betting markets available to them to enhance the experience, via an intuitive mobile-first designed UI, with the initial launch expected to attract multiple audience demographics.
Following this launch, Twain Sport’s next product, T-kick, will debut in African markets in Q1 2023. The football-themed betting experience is expected to meet and surpass the favourable reaction from local players that T-basket has already received, given the incredible appetite for the sport across the continent.
Commenting on the deal, BetGames’ VP Sales, Africa, James Everett said: “Having already seen great success with our launch of Twain Sport in Europe, we’re equally as excited to go live with Hollywoodbets in a deal that will provide significant impetus to our fast-growing brand, this time in African markets.
“T-basket has already been met with approval from African players and the anticipation for a similar football product in T-kick is only going see revenue grow accordingly.”
Wayde Dorkin, Head of Product at Hollywoodbets, added: “There hasn’t been a product like this in our market before, so naturally we’re excited to add something so unique to our basket of games for our customers.
“The rapid play and betting markets available are perfect for today’s consumers and the prospect of T-kick’s imminent arrival adds to that excitement.”
Twain Sport delivers a similar sporting schedule to Esports and Virtual Sports and offers best-in-class integrity measures using Sportradar’s Fraud Detection System. This sits alongside stringent anti-match fixing protocols, providing operator partners with the world’s very best protection.
