Press Box PR Becomes Official Sponsor of Women in iGaming, Backed by iGaming News
iGaming News is excited to reveal Press Box PR, a top digital and conventional PR firm for the iGaming and sports betting sector, as the official Women in iGaming sponsor of the publication. This collaboration backs iGaming News’ Women in iGaming initiative, a program focused on honoring, showcasing, and elevating the accomplishments of women leaders advancing the industry.
To launch the partnership, iGaming News has unveiled a new category, sponsored by Press Box PR, at its first iGaming News Awards: “Woman of Influence,” highlighting outstanding women who are transforming the industry and fostering innovation.
Abigail Welch, Editor of iGaming News, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Press Box PR as the official sponsor of our Women in iGaming initiative. Their expertise in digital PR will help us bring the incredible stories of women across the industry to a wider audience. This partnership is about celebrating women every day, supporting their achievements and inspiring the next generation of leaders.”
Sarah Williams, B2B account manager for Press Box PR, said: “We’re thrilled to be a part of iGaming News’ Women in iGaming initiative! With International Women’s Day coming up this Sunday as well as March being Women’s History Month, there’s no better time to announce this fantastic partnership. By putting our time, money and effort behind initiatives like Women in iGaming, Press Box PR is showing support all year long, not just on certain days or months.
“While we are certainly seeing more women excelling and leading in the industry, only about 16% of executive-level roles in the sector are held by women, according to the latest 2025 data from the Gambling Survey for Great Britain. I hope that by shining a light on the skilled women in this industry, we can see that representation increase.”
The partnership will feature editorial pieces, interviews, podcasts, and campaign material highlighting women who are shaping history in iGaming, their professional paths, and how they are progressing the industry. Uniting iGaming News’ industry influence with Press Box PR’s digital communication skills and client network, the collaboration aims to amplify women’s voices and enhance recognition for female leaders.

MERKUR Casino Pledges £100,000 Donation to Momentum Children’s Charity
MERKUR Casino UK has committed a £100,000 donation to Momentum Children’s Charity that will be used to support families with seriously ill children. The donation marks a new partnership, that will span over a three-year period.
Momentum supports families across London, Surrey, and Sussex whose children are facing cancer or a life-challenging condition, offering personally tailored support to the entire family through their family support workers, both in hospital and at home. Momentum has grown significantly over the last 21 years, expanding their reach and impact across the hospitals and communities they work with. If the unthinkable happens, and a child dies, the charity has a specialist bereavement service called Momentum Echoes.
The funding from MERKUR will play a crucial role in supporting the charity’s future vision, helping Momentum deliver and expand a range of initiatives including opportunities for families to enjoy a day out on the charity’s riverboat or take a break in one of its respite cabins, offering space to rest, reconnect and create treasured memories.
MERKUR’s donations will also ensure that the charity can continue with Momentum Echoes, their bereavement support programme, which helps families navigate the unimaginable loss of a child.
MERKUR announced the partnership at the end of last year at their annual company conference. As demand for Momentum’s support grows, the impact made by MERKUR’s partnership comes at a time where making a positive difference to the lives of these families and children is vital.
Sarah Woods, CEO of Momentum Children’s Charity said: “We are delighted to be partnering with MERKUR Casino UK and are extremely grateful for their generous support. This partnership will allow Momentum to continue providing vital emotional and practical help to families who have a child with cancer or a life-challenging condition. Over the next three years, this support will enable us to reach more families and respond to the growing demand for our services. With the first donation already received, we can already see the difference this partnership is making.”
Mark Schertle, chief operating officer of MERKUR Casino UK, said: “At MERKUR, we strongly believe that giving back to the communities we serve is important, especially when it comes to supporting those who are facing heartbreaking challenges. Momentum Children’s Charity provides invaluable and exceptional support to the families and children affected by cancer and life-challenging conditions, helping them to cope more easily whatever the outcome. Their services provide essential counselling, creative therapies, experiences and respite breaks, all of which make a real difference in people’s lives. We are glad that our partnership, and donations to follow, will help Momentum continue their hard work and we are looking forward as to what lies ahead.”

Norwegian Football and Norsk Tipping Extend Their Cooperation
Norsk Tipping has signed a new four-year sponsorship agreement with the Norwegian Football Association (NFF), Norwegian Toppfotball (NTF) and Toppfotball Kvinner (TFK).
The agreement means that Norsk Tipping will continue as general partner for Norwegian football in the period 2026–29.
It includes, among other things, the senior national teams for women and men, and makes Norsk Tipping the general partner for the Eliteserien and the main partner for the Toppserien. The total framework for the agreement is NOK 60 million.
“Norsk Tipping has been a very important partner for us for many, many years and we are of course very happy and proud that the collaboration continues. Norsk Tipping’s involvement in football and the collaboration with us has been absolutely crucial for the activity we see in Norwegian football today, including through the betting facilities, which have contributed to facilities that make football a mainstay in local communities all over Norway. We really look forward to the continuation and a great collaboration in the years to come,” said NFF’s general secretary, Karl-Petter Løken.
Norsk Tipping and Norwegian football have had a continuous collaboration since 1948. The new agreement thus continues one of the most extensive and long-standing partnerships in Norwegian sports.
“We are proud to continue as general partner for the Norwegian Football Association in the period 2026–2029. Norsk Tipping has a long and strong relationship with Norwegian football, and we look forward to contributing to both big moments at the top level and the important work that happens every single day in clubs across the country,” said Vegar Strand, acting CEO of Norsk Tipping.
“Football brings Norway together – from the everyday efforts in the clubs, to the biggest moments, such as the Champions League final for women at Ullevaal in May and the men’s World Cup the following month. It means a lot to us to be part of this,” he added.
“Football is one of Norway’s most important meeting places, and we are proud to contribute to development both at the top and in the wider community. The collaboration with NFF, NTF and TFK is crucial for us to be able to deliver on our social mission of giving profits back to Norwegian sports and volunteering,” said Linda Eng Strand, Director of Brand and Marketing at Norsk Tipping.
Through the agreement, the parties will work together to:
• Strengthening the national teams, both sportingly and commercially
• Public outreach and recruitment initiatives across the country
• Community projects for both the top and the bottom
• Further development of the Eliteserien and Toppserien as a consumer product
• Matchday concepts and digital content that elevate Norwegian football
“The collaboration with Norsk Tipping enables us to lift both the Eliteserien product and the clubs that run it. We look forward to developing new projects that create more engagement, better match experiences and stronger profiles,” said CEO of Norsk Toppfotball, Jens Haugland.
“We greatly appreciate the long-standing collaboration with Norsk Tipping and the importance the partnership has had for the development of Norwegian women’s football. That Norsk Tipping will continue with us for a new agreement period is very pleasing. We look forward to continued good collaboration and more good initiatives that drive continued growth and development,” said General Manager of Toppfotball Kvinner, Marianne Solheim.
