BeyondPlay signs first major supplier deal with Pragmatic Play

BeyondPlay, a B2B start-up developing multiplayer engagement software for online slots, is set for its first major integration after securing a deal with leading games supplier Pragmatic Play.

A selection of titles from Pragmatic Play will be integrated with the BeyondPlay software solution and launched with an initial period of exclusivity with LeoVegas Group.

Following the completion of BeyondPlay’s licensing and certification process, the partnership will enable operators to offer industry-leading slot titles from the Pragmatic Play portfolio, coupled with an engaging multiplayer mode, developed by BeyondPlay, and featuring a wide array of social and interactive features.

The deal with Pragmatic Play represents a major milestone for BeyondPlay, after the start-up closed a sizable investment round last year that saw the venture arm of LeoVegas become a lead investor. Since then, the company has moved quickly to build a strong management team with the high-profile hires of Jacqui Gatt, previously Director of Gaming at Casumo, as Chief Operating Officer; and Cristina Turbatu, formerly of Playtech, who holds the position of Chief Technology Officer.

The BeyondPlay software transforms solo game sessions into captivating multiplayer entertainment experiences, putting the community, real-time sharing and togetherness at its heart. The product enables both online gambling operators and their suppliers to offer a multiplayer experience on existing certified content.

With the implementation of a multiplayer software wrapper integrated with selected slot titles and launched on an operator website, players can join the same game session on a chosen slot, combine their stakes through BeyondPlay’s patented syndicate bet functionality, and share the thrills of the game, while also enjoying interacting with each other.

The tournament marks the return of India’s only official console esports tournament, and features daily online qualifiers, followed by an online playoffs.
