The World Series of Poker® celebrated the opening weekend of this year’s Main Event® with an epic celebrity Shuffle Up and Deal moment featuring six-time NBA All-Star and four-time NBA champion, Tony Parker. The excitement and energy in the Rio Convention Center were palpable as the shuffling of cards and ringing of chips filled the room, kicking off the day’s Main Event flight.

Following a historic first day of play on Thursday, Nov. 5, with the surprise return of poker royalty Doyle Brunson to the Main Event tables, today marks the beginning of Flight 1B, where more players will be competing for a chance to win the prestigious $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event bracelet.

Saturday, Nov. 6 – Event #67C: MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship – Day 1C
Sunday, Nov. 7 – Event #67D: MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship – Day 1D
Sunday, Nov. 7 – Online Event #7: WSOP.com No-Limit Hold’em High Rollers 8 Max

Registration for the Main Event will remain open until 3:40 p.m. PST on Wednesday, Nov. 10. However, the action does not end there with over 20 WSOP bracelet events left to play through Monday, Nov. 22. The full WSOP tournament schedule can be found at WSOP.com/tournaments.
