Betfred launch Spotlight Sports Group in-play betting content

Betfred has launched Spotlight Sports Group in-play betting content across its website and mobile app. The in-play content brings customers live stats, suggestions and betting analysis, bringing customers the most up to date tipping suggestions throughout the match.

The product provides expert handwritten content for 90 leagues in over 60 languages. Driven by the AI service, Spotlight Sports Group in-play content uses a combination of editorial experts, historic match data and live on-field events to create compelling, contextually relevant bet stimulations that drive engagement and turnover across numerous betting markets.

To ensure Betfred had the product as early in the season as possible, Spotlight Sports Group designed, mapped and developed a front-end solution that integrated all Betfred’s markets, and odds. As a result of this development, the product now fits seamlessly on the Betfred sportsbook allowing customers to place bets directly from the bet stimulations.

Betfred’s partnership with Spotlight Sports Group continues to grow having rolled out content for horseracing, sport and football online whilst they continue to support retail endeavours across their high-street estate.

Discussing the launch of the new service Spotlight Sports Group Account Director, Darren Hale mentioned the advanced technology of the product and how it can help Betfred engage a new audience.

Hale said: ‘In-play football betting has grown exponentially over the past ten years to become the critical betting market. Our in-play content service sits alongside that perfectly, as there is no other product on the market able to offer real-time, expert betting insights in any language. For Betfred customers, this will arm them with knowledge from our experts to make informed betting decisions.

“The technology in the background of this product is second to none. It is completely customisable so Betfred only receives the content they want, and as well as an API we are capable of providing a bespoke plug and play solution in weeks. I’m incredibly excited to see Betfred customers begin to use it.”

Digital Sportsbook Product Manager at Betfred, Stuart Grant echoed those sentiments and talked about how Betfred continues to offer the best customer experience with expert content.
