eCOGRA Opens New Office in Colorado

eCOGRA, the globally renowned Independent Testing Laboratory specializing in the testing, inspection and certification of online gambling software and systems, announced the opening of its new office in Denver, Colorado, marking a significant milestone in their expansion into the US. This strategic move is further strengthened by the appointment of Daniel Remmes as the US-based Director of Compliance.
Founded in 2003, eCOGRA has become synonymous with integrity, reliability, and excellence in the field of independent testing. It now boasts jurisdictional approvals in over 37 global markets, including the six states in North America and growing. The decision to expand into the US follows the increasing demand for eCOGRA’s services in the region, particularly given the rapid growth of the iGaming industry in North America.
The new Colorado office will serve as a hub for eCOGRA’s operations in the US, supporting clients with a range of services including software testing, RNG (Random Number Generator) evaluations, cybersecurity assessments, and regulatory compliance reviews. This expansion reflects eCOGRA’s commitment to ensuring safe and fair online gaming practices for both players and operators across the globe.
Daniel Remmes, the newly appointed Director of Compliance for the US, brings a wealth of experience to the role. With over a decade of experience in iGaming regulation and compliance, Mr. Remmes has worked with several prominent gaming operators and regulatory bodies. His expertise will be instrumental in guiding eCOGRA’s US operations and ensuring that the company’s high standards of consumer protection and regulatory compliance are maintained.
“I’m thrilled to begin this new role with eCOGRA and to seize the opportunity to work with our talented team. eCOGRA is recognised as a leading internationally accredited testing agency, with specialisation in the certification of online gambling software and systems; specific to the company’s expansion of business in the U.S market, I look forward to leveraging my decade of iGaming compliance experience to ensure all regulatory matters and customer initiatives are treated with the utmost importance,” Mr. Remmes said.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our operations in the United States and believe that our presence in Colorado will play a pivotal role in our growth. Daniel Remmes is an outstanding addition to our team.
