Swintt uncovers the treasures of the Nile in Cleopatras Pearls

Innovative software provider’s latest Premium release invites players to come and spin up a pharaoh’s fortune with the help of big money free spins connected to four local jackpots
This month, hotshot software developer, Swintt, is asking players to spin like an Egyptian in their latest Premium release, Cleopatras Pearls – a brand-new, pharaoh-themed slot that sees the welcome return of the studio’s popular Pearl feature and four signature jackpots.
Being a Premium title, Cleopatras Pearls again features the familiar sounds and gameplay mechanics players will recognise from classic slot machines; though the game’s graphics have certainly been given a new lick of paint, with action taking place in front of an atmospheric hieroglyphic-strewn background.
Though players will notice the appearance of iconic ace-through-ten playing card values at the lower end of the paytable, unique symbols to feature across Cleopatras Pearls’ five reels and 50 fixed paylines include shields, sarcophagi, statues of Horus and Cleopatra herself – though the one icon they’ll really need to look out for is the golden pearl, which is key to triggering the slot’s titular bonus.
Should six or more of these lucky symbols appear anywhere during a single spin, players will be whisked away to a new 5×3 set of reels where only the triggering pearls are displayed. Initially, each of these symbols will spin to reveal a cash prize and players will receive a starting set of three free spins.
During the feature, each new round will reduce the free spin counter by one, but should a new pearl symbol appear, it will be reset to its starting level. Action will continue in this manner until either all available reel spaces are filled or the counter reaches zero, but there are many more surprises in store.
Rather than a prize value, certain pearl symbols will instead display a bonus modifier, with these dramatically upgrading how the feature is played. Available modifiers include arrows that add an extra row to the feature gameboard, plus icons which increase players’ maximum number of free spins by one, dollar symbols which boost the value of up to five pearls, multipliers which double all prizes and a moneybag, which will add together the value of all currently-won pearls to create an additional prize.
Not only that, but the dollar and moneybag pearls are also available in VIP versions – which mean they award their modifier not just once, but after each and every spin – and players may also be lucky enough to stumble upon a special chest icon. When this happens, a countdown of ten will be displayed to indicate the number of spins needed before the chest will open; and once this number reaches zero, players will randomly receive a Minor, Major, Maxi or Mega Pot.
With all that huge prize potential up for grabs in the Pearl spin feature, it’s understandable players might not want to wait to trigger the bonus during the base game – so luckily for them, Cleopatras Pearls also boasts a Buy Feature Games button so they can jump into the action whenever they please.
David Mann, Chief Executive Officer at Swintt, said: “Since its debut, Swintt’s Pearl feature has been a popular addition to our SwinttPremium range of slots – and we’ve been constantly refining the bonus with each new release to the point that it now includes all manner of highly-rewarding extras.
“This is certainly the case in our exciting new Egyptian-themed release, Cleopatras Pearls, where players will now have access to boosters, multipliers and summarisers which can all increase their standard payouts, as well as four special jackpot prizes to boost winnings to a maximum of 3,000 x the bet!”

Midnite appoints Alex Henderson as VP of Compliance to drive commitment to ‘doing things right’

Fast-growing UK sportsbook and casino Midnite has further bolstered its team with the appointment of Alex Henderson as VP of Compliance.
Henderson joins Midnite with significant experience across compliance, regulatory affairs and operational risk within the gambling sector. He has worked with established operators, law enforcement agencies and advisory firms, bringing a balanced understanding of commercial and compliance challenges.
The addition of Henderson is the latest key addition for Midnite, after the appointment of Zach Amin as Vice-President of Sportsbook and Andrew Mook as Head of Brand Marketing – with both joining from Flutter.
Henderson’s role will involve overseeing regulatory compliance, enhancing internal processes, and supporting Midnite’s continued focus on safer gambling and operational integrity under its UK licence.
He said: “I’m genuinely excited to be joining Midnite at such an exciting time in our growth story. Everyone I’ve met so far has been welcoming and clearly driven by a real passion for what they’re building. There’s a strong sense of ambition matched by a real commitment to doing things right.”
Midnite’s sportsbook was launched in 2018 by Nick Wright and Daniel Qu, who previously created daily fantasy sports platform Dribble in partnership with Sky Bet. In April, Midnite announced an investment of about £7.7m to help fuel its growth ambitions. The company has subsequently secured high-profile sponsorship partnerships with the World Snooker Championship, Southampton Football Club and Sheffield United Football Club.
The brand is focused on disrupting the UK betting market, prioritising the player experience with a slick website and app and a brand platform designed to speak to a new generation of players.
Wright said: “We’re building Midnite to be the most exciting betting brand in the UK but also the most trusted and that means taking compliance seriously. Alex brings heavyweight experience and the mindset we value – sharp, pragmatic and unafraid to raise the bar. His appointment is in keeping the standards we expect and the culture we’re creating.”
