ACR POKER LAUNCHES ‘MONEYMAKER MAY-HEM’, OFFERING PLAYERS A CHANCE TO JOIN CHRIS MONEYMAKER IN LAS VEGAS FOR $10K MAIN EVENT
As the Sunday Moneymaker tourney approaches its one-year anniversary this summer, ACR Poker is launching a month-long pre-celebration this May with the Moneymaker May-Hem. This promo gives players a chance to join the 2003 WSOP Main Event Champion and poker legend Chris Moneymaker for a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience during the Main Event of Vegas’ hottest summer series.
Throughout the month of May, every player who plays a $109 buy-in Sunday Moneymaker on ACR Poker and reaches a final table in any of the weekly events will earn a spot in a Final Sit & Go Showdown on Sunday, June 1st at 4pm ET.
The Final Sit & Go winner will receive a VIP package complete with a $10,000 buy-in to the Vegas Main Event, $5,000 cash for travel and other expenses, and the chance to meet Chris Moneymaker in Las Vegas. Second and third place finishers will receive $109 Sunday Moneymaker Tickets.
“The Sunday Moneymaker has become something really special, and it’s been incredible to watch it grow since we launched it last year,” said Moneymaker. “This May promo is a huge thank you to our community and every player who’s been part of this ride. I’m looking forward to welcoming the winner in Vegas, talking strategy, and hopefully celebrating a deep run in the Main Event together.”
The Sunday Moneymaker, which launched in July 2024 to honor ACR Pro and poker icon Chris Moneymaker, has quickly grown into one of ACR Poker’s weekly signature events. Since its debut, the Sunday Moneymaker has already attracted over 78,000 entrants and awarded more than $13 million in total prize money. The tournament features a $300,000 guarantee every Sunday, with a $400,000 prize pool on the final Sunday of each month.
Moneymaker noted that players can also qualify for each Sunday Moneymaker through ACR Poker’s satellites in the hours before every tournament, with paths starting at freerolls ($0), Micro Hyper Sats ($1.05, $2.10), and Mega Satellites ($11, $22) offering guaranteed $109 seats.
For poker players looking to follow the action, the Final Sit & Go Showdown will be live-streamed on ACR’s Twitch channel on Sunday, June 1st.

ACR Poker’s Online Super Series XL Surpasses Guaranteed Prize Pools to Award $60 Million to Players Worldwide
ACR Poker’s flagship Online Super Series (OSS) XL has wrapped up in spectacular fashion, delivering supersized poker action. Over the course of the series, OSS XL awarded more than $60 million in total prize pools – surpassing its advertised $50 million guarantee. The OSS XL attracted 569,903 entrants from 128 countries worldwide, making it one of the largest online poker tournament series of the Spring.
The series’ headline events proved to be a major highlight with all three Main Events surpassing their guarantees and attracting massive fields throughout:
• The $2,650 Main Event edged past its $2 million guarantee, generating a $2,485,000 prize pool from 994 entrants, with “Rushgold” capturing the title and $480,796.
• The $1,050 Main Event also surpassed its $2 million guarantee, reaching a $2,298,000 prize pool from 2298 entrants, with “DificilHein” taking home $304,208.
• The $215 Main Event completed the lineup, exceeding its $1 million guarantee to award $1,064,200 from 5321 entrants, as “jumpintheknife” claimed the top prize of $128,732.
“It feels very surreal and I can’t believe that it actually happened. I felt relief from a long grind the last three days. I’ll play the Venom and see what happens there,” said $2650 Main Event champion Alex ‘Rushgold’ Wasierski.
Adding to the excitement, ACR Pro Jon Pardy’s two-week OSS XL grind gave players a unique sweat throughout the series. His journey captured both the highs and challenges of competing at this level, culminating in a dramatic triumph in his final game – the $215 OSS XL $50K GTD, where he took first place for $12,279.
“This whole streamathon will be something I remember forever. It was mentally draining every single day, however the joy of winning the last tournament I was left in and for it to be an OSS event feels like it was written in the stars. I want to thank ACR, I want to thank GhostOfM and I want to thank the chat who turned up every day in their hundreds to rail me and send me positive vibes,” said Pardy.

MONSTER VENOM TOURNAMENTS ON ACR POKER AWARD OVER $11 MILLION IN PRIZE POOLS TO PLAYERS AND DELIVER BIG POKER ACTION
ACR Poker has wrapped up its flagship Dual Mystery Bounty Venom tournaments, delivering more than two weeks of high-octane online poker action and awarding over $11 million in total prize pools to players from around the world.
The hugely popular series once again surpassed expectations, smashing guaranteed prize pools and cementing the Venom brand as one of the biggest and most exciting events on the online poker calendar.
The Venom No-Limit Hold’em (NLH) event comfortably exceeded its $8 million guarantee, generating a massive $9,182,500 prize pool, with $4,591,250 allocated to mystery bounties. Meanwhile, the Venom Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) tournament surpassed its $2 million guarantee, creating a $2,092,500 total prize pool, including $1,046,250 in bounties.
In the NLH event, 28-year-old Portuguese poker professional Pedro “MatasSembolas” Neves emerged victorious after outlasting a formidable field of 3,673 entrants. Following a three-way deal with ‘BALDOUS’ and ‘basaboy’, Neves captured the Venom title and secured a total payout of $728,281, made up of $630,327 in prize money and $97,953 in bounties.
Reflecting on his victory, Neves said:
“It feels great to win such a big tournament. The Venom is one of the most well-known events on the schedule, so finishing in first place is very satisfying and something I’m really happy about.”
Despite finishing runner-up, UK player ‘BALDOUS’ claimed the largest overall payday of the tournament. By landing the top $500,000 and $150,000 mystery bounties, ‘BALDOUS’ walked away with $510,378 in prize money and an incredible $729,931 in bounties, totaling $1,240,310.
In the PLO Venom, ‘StickyMinaj’ topped an 837-player field, earning the $209,860 first-place prize along with $104,062 in bounties to cap off an impressive performance.
ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker praised the series, saying:
“The Mystery Bounty Venoms had it all — huge fields, nonstop action, and unforgettable moments — and showed why it’s one of the most exciting formats in online poker. Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who landed those incredible bounties — now bring on the next one!”
Fans looking to relive the action can catch a full recap of the NLH final table on ACR Poker’s Twitch channel, featuring commentary from ACR Pros Chris Moneymaker and Jon Pardy, alongside ACR Team Online member Svitlana Dryha.
While the Dual Venom tournaments have concluded, the action on ACR Poker continues. Players can now take part in the $1 million guaranteed Moneymaker Mystery Million, the popular weekly high-stakes tournament Phil’s Thrill, and a packed schedule of additional events.
