Premier League Darts will have a new look in 2024 with BetMGM unveiled as the title sponsor of the sport’s biggest roadshow event.

The BetMGM Premier League will be held from February to May as eight players compete for £1 million in prize money across 17 nights.

Each of the 16 league nights features a mini-event where the eight players compete down to a winner, with the top four from the final league table progressing to the season-ending Play-Offs.

The 2024 season marks the start of a new sponsorship agreement between the Professional Darts Corporation and BetMGM, a new gambling and betting platform from MGM Resorts.

BetMGM offers a range of sports betting, casino and live casino games, as well as MGM Millions and MGM Exclusives.

“The Premier League will reach a huge live audience and a massive global television audience across four months, and we’re delighted to welcome BetMGM as our new title sponsor,” said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

“This year marks the 20th staging of the Premier League and it is already the most eagerly-awaited, with the standard of entertainment across PDC events in the past 12 months having continued to rise.

“As we enter the third year of the eight-player, nightly knockout format we’re excited about working alongside BetMGM to promote such a wide-reaching event.”

BetMGM already has partnerships with football clubs Manchester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United, as well as talkSPORT.

The UK Director of BetMGM, Sam Behar said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with such an exciting and entertaining event as Premier League Darts and look forward to an action-packed 2024 for both BetMGM and the PDC.”

The BetMGM Premier League will begin on Thursday February 1 in Cardiff, and visits Berlin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Exeter, Brighton, Nottingham, Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, Rotterdam, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Leeds and Sheffield before the Play-Offs in London.

The player line-up for the 2024 BetMGM Premier League Darts tournament will be announced at 4pm.

UK Regulated Entry Strategy Sees TaDa Gaming Launch with a Bang

TaDa Gaming, has seen a positive 2025 for successful licence applications to facilitate its entry to regulated markets.

Bringing a new dimension to play in the UK through its expert localisation, diverse portfolio, market leading fish-shooting games and gamification tools, TaDa’s strategy is to mirror its success across Latin America, North America and Europe through partnering with leading local operators and global brands.

Confirmation from the prestigious UKGC earlier in the year enabled TaDa to begin its B2B development building. To ensure full compliance with the rigorous demands of the UK Gambling Commission, the company’s effective glocalisation strategy was applied to its portfolio of slots, casino and fish-shooting games.

Additional deep research was commissioned to ensure TaDa was in tune with local player preferences. This groundwork led to TaDa’s multiple and simultaneous UK integrations with SkillOnNet, ProgressPlay, Videoslots, Mr Vegas and Midnite Casinos. Distribution is through Light & Wonder Inc.

Each casino operator is renowned in their own right, serving different demographics, providing exceptional customer service and making them prime destinations for players who demand safe, regulated and quality gaming experiences.

Launching with the spectacular 3D multiplayer game, Dinosaur Tycoon II, UK players will also have access to the 200+ portfolio including the high performing Triluck ‘3 pots’ series and Hit the Cash release Fortune Coins.

The impressive engagement and retention figures already enjoyed by these slots has helped the innovative Taiwanese company position itself as a challenger brand in the UK with more games currently undergoing certification and two new slots to be released monthly for the UK.

Furthermore, TaDa’s position as the No.1 provider for fish-shooting games gives it unique leverage as a niche provider. This will create significant differentiation for TaDa’s UK facing partners.

Andy Huang, CEO of TaDa Gaming, said: “Entering the established UK market is not something TaDa has undertaken lightly. Our focus is on compliance to reinforce how seriously we take professionalism and social responsibility: so working with innovative casino operators whose values align with TaDa’s gives us the right platforms to launch our brand with a bang.

“We are confident that our niche fish-shooting games will deliver differentiation for these operators, while positioning ourselves as an exciting and alternative provider for the UK.”

TaDa’s range of international gaming licences, including Greece, Malta, Ontario, Romania and Sweden in addition to its certifications for Brazil and Portugal, has given TaDa wide experience across multiple jurisdictions.

This exposure to delivering safe gaming and rigorous compliance for a future-proof approach confirms TaDa as a forward-focused business that prioritises good governance for long-term strategic and sustainable growth.
