GiG completes a deal with Ontario land-based group to power Casino Time
Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG), has completed its deal with Casino Time Inc, following a Head of Terms agreement announced on 30 November 2022, for the provision of its award winning Platform, Sportsbook and proven OMNI channel solution in Ontario.
The deal, which is expected to see the brand go live in H2 this year, marks the fifth operator to be powered by GiG in the region, after the granting of a supplier licence by local regulatory body the AGCO, in July 2022.
Canadian owned and operated, Casino Time is a joint venture amongst leading retail operators in Ontario’s Charitable Gaming sector, and is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Ontario’s charities, extending its joint fundraising model into the iGaming space for the first time.
Focused on utilising the best available technology in each key functional area, including player account management, trading and risk management, and automated marketing, GiG’s growing reputation and experience as a provider of market leading technology has proved perfectly placed to complement the land-based gaming brands’ strategic online ambitions, extending from an initial footprint of 10 Ontario locations.
Having opened in April 2022, Ontario is an attractive proposition for operators looking to access an expanding market that is expected to grow to €2bn in gross gaming revenue (GGR) over the next three years, according to information supplied by H2 Gambling Data.
