Light & Wonder set to offer iGaming content to players in newly regulated Ontario market
Scientific Games Corporation, doing business as Light & Wonder, has been granted a supplier license by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which will see the company enter the newly regulated Ontario iGaming market on April 4th.
The license will allow Light & Wonder to supply approved operators with its industry leading OpenGaming
Ontario-licensed operators will have instant access to the ecosystem’s vast range of in-house developed games, including titles such as 88 Fortunes, Marvelous Mouse Coin Combo, Dancing Drums Explosion and Chicken Fox 5x Skillstar as well as releases from some of the globe’s biggest third-party game studios.
Ontario becomes the sixth regulated jurisdiction in North America where operators have access to Light & Wonder’s diverse content portfolio, following in the footsteps of the company’s successful operations in New Jersey, Connecticut, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
This news follows Light & Wonder’s successful rebrand, supporting its bid to position itself as the leading cross-platform gaming company in the world.

Aviatrix enters North America for first time with Ontario launch
Award-winning crash game Aviatrix is now live in North America for the very first time, after securing a licence and certification in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Aviatrix has been granted a Gaming-Related Supplier (B2B) Licence by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), meaning Ontario-licensed operators can now offer the game.
It’s the first time players in North America will be able to enjoy Aviatrix, marking another major milestone in the remarkable two-year journey of the game.
Aviatrix was helped through the AGCO licensing and certification process by BetComply.
Anastasia Rimskaya, Chief Account Officer at Aviatrix, said: “We committed to expanding Aviatrix’s regulated footprint, and this is another huge step. Edict Egaming Secures Approval for Ontario Licence
Edict egaming has received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to provide its games for the online casino market in the Canadian province. This applies to both the German edict egaming GmbH and Edict Malta Limited. From now on, the Merkur Group subsidiary will be able to offer its popular Merkur slots in one of the largest North American markets.

The AGCO is working with the Government of Ontario and iGaming Ontario (iGO) to establish a new online gaming market that helps protect consumers gambling through private gaming companies. This license certifies that edict operates within the framework of strict laws and meets the requirements for responsible gaming.
