The Mill Adventure Launches Flexible Tournament Tool for Player Engagement
Banking on players’ competitive spirit and the simple satisfaction of winning, there is nothing quite like the thrill of tournaments to stimulate players’ engagement. However, holding tournaments might seem like a daunting task for some operators, considering the effort and technological resources normally associated with it; in most platforms, in order to run tournaments, operators have to expend additional money and use third parties that do not always integrate properly with the platform.
That is why with a tournament tool that is flexible and native to their platform, The Mill Adventure (TMA) provides a unique opportunity for white-labels and operators alike to attract new players and engage current ones, or even boost the performance of a game and amp up a loyalty program. Check out a few highlights below!
Cross-Vertical: Create tournaments — not just for slots — but across multiple verticals such as live casino and sportsbook, so you can cater to different types of players and let them compete against each other.
Multiple Tournament Types and Dynamic Segmentation: Just like you have different goals for your campaigns, you can choose from several tournament types to achieve them. Tournaments can vary based on factors like highest multiplier win, most played, and total wins, to name a few. What’s more, you can take advantage of TMA’s powerful segmentation tools to make sure you’re targeting the right players with the right tournament type.
Your Tournament, Your Rules: Through a user-friendly interface, you can customize how points are calculated across factors like verticals, sports markets, casino game types, and even wallets. You can also adjust, in any way you wish, the opt-in requirements and limits for your tournaments such as the minimum bet, maximum points over a time period, odds in sportsbook, and the inclusion (or exclusion) of bonus money and free spins.
Manage Tournaments with Ease: Through TMA’s content management system, each tournament gets an automatically generated page from where you can easily share information about the tournament, view eligible games and terms and conditions, and more.
Real-Time Leaderboard and Full Mobile Support: Players can check their position on a leaderboard that updates in real-time. Whether they are playing on mobile, tablet, or desktop, players don’t even have to leave a game to keep track of their position, points gained, and overall progress with TMA’s intuitive approach.
Flexible Prizes and Payouts: Based on their position on the leaderboard, you can reward your players with any prizes, created using TMA’s flexible bonus tool, any time. You can even choose to pay out prizes automatically or verify winners before paying out for complete control. Apply wager requirement, reward real cash, or pay out super spins with higher coin values — top this off with giving players a notification to claim their prizes.
Compliant with Regulated Markets: All of these features are underpinned by TMA’s strong focus on compliance; the tournament tool can be used in any regulated market that allows player incentives.
Whether you want to drive traffic to a specific game, looking to attract new players, or reward your most valuable players, tournaments when done right, are a guaranteed way to captivate your audience. Among the greatest benefits tournaments can add to your casino include increased lifetime player value, stronger player loyalty, and long-term engagement.
Bjørnar Heggernes, Head of Casino at The Mill Adventure, explains, “Tournaments are not just nice-to-have feature for casinos; it has definitely proven to be crucial for the long term success of casinos. With our tournament tool, we don’t want to just give operators the technology — more importantly, we want to give them the freedom and flexibility to easily create and customize their tournaments in a format and manner that is unique to their business and marketing goals.”

Neosurf & Betting Hero to reveal results of their in-depth study into US online gambling and payment habits in exclusive two-part webinar series
Neosurf, the globally trusted provider of swift and secure cash-to-digital payment solutions, has announced it will be sharing the findings of a recent study into the online betting habits, preferences and frustrations of US players in an exclusive two-part webinar series beginning on January 14th.
Neosurf commissioned the research via Betting Hero – a leading US-based iGaming portal with expertise in casino, sports betting and DFS. The webinars will see Neosurf CEO Americas, Sue Page, Betting Hero’s Co-Founder and President, Jai Maw, and Senior Director of Product and Research, Ernie Ropas, dive into the report’s key findings and discuss what some of the more surprising results could mean for operators.
The survey, which featured respondents from New Jersey, Colorado and North Carolina, aimed to help operators and regulators within the gambling industry better understand the typical US bettor – how and why they bet, what tools they use to manage their budget and what Responsible Gaming means to them. The findings will be revealed in the webinars and used to identify areas where Neosurf’s products can help operators provide a better user experience.
The research highlighted several aspects of payments and responsible gaming that bettors felt could be improved. Problems with payments remain an issue – 52% of respondents said that they’d experienced payment issues in the past year, and with over 50% depositing and withdrawing multiple times each month, there is a significant cost impact to the operators.
Additionally, respondents indicated they’d be in favour of using a service that could share pre-verified ID information with operators, with ease of use for new payment methods and seamless integration across multiple platforms identified as important factors in their choosing and remaining loyal to a single sports betting platform.
Sue Page, Neosurf CEO Americas, said: “It was important to us to gain a more detailed insight into the US sports bettor. We wanted to talk to the players and ask questions that no one else is asking, and through our collaboration with Betting Hero I’m delighted that we now have a comprehensive piece of research.
“Offering valuable insights into player habits – how and why they bet, the ongoing pain points they’re experiencing with payments and their thoughts on Responsible Gaming—we’ll be taking a deep dive into the results of the survey in our two-part webinar series starting at 10:00 ET on January 14th, and we encourage all US-focused operators and regulators to join us.”
