AGCO Releases iGaming Operator Application Guidelines
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has just released an iGaming Operator Application Guide to assist prospective iGaming operators understand the application requirements and begin preparing to submit their applications. All operators interested in participating in Ontario’s regulated iGaming market will first need to be registered by the AGCO.
The guide was developed after a series of stakeholder engagements were held covering a wide range of topics related to how Ontario’s open, regulated, and competitive iGaming market will work.
All applications for registration will be made through iAGCO, the AGCO’s web-based portal and the AGCO will announce the application date in the near future.
An application guide to assist iGaming suppliers will also be released shortly.

Edict Egaming Secures Approval for Ontario Licence
Edict egaming has received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to provide its games for the online casino market in the Canadian province. This applies to both the German edict egaming GmbH and Edict Malta Limited. From now on, the Merkur Group subsidiary will be able to offer its popular Merkur slots in one of the largest North American markets.

The AGCO is working with the Government of Ontario and iGaming Ontario (iGO) to establish a new online gaming market that helps protect consumers gambling through private gaming companies. This license certifies that edict operates within the framework of strict laws and meets the requirements for responsible gaming.

Swintt games approved for release in Ontario
In-demand software provider receives AGCO approval to operate in the regulated province, bringing full suite of games to Canadian players for the very first time
Swintt, the EGR award-winning software provider famed for its classically-themed Premium releases and state-of-the-art Select slots, has announced it has received permission to operate in Ontario, meaning its full suite of games will now available to AGCO-licensed platforms.
