Play’n GO secures Buenos Aires Accreditation
Play’n GO has today announced that the company has secured accreditation from LOTBA, the gaming regulator in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, further expanding the company’s reach within the wider LATAM region.
As one of the first suppliersto be approved by the regulator in this new and exciting market, Play’n GO is now able to offer fully compliant casino content to operators licensed in the City of Buenos Aires as well as those of the Province of Buenos Aires, home to almost 17 million people.
As well as offering popular titles including Legacy of Dead, Contact and Reactoonz, players will be able to enjoy a wide range of themes and game types like our latest Latin American adventure Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God or an epic quest in Viking Runecraft.
Sissel Weitzhandler, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for the company, said, “Our strategy remains to engage in every regulated jurisdiction with diligence and care. The speed at which Argentina is re-regulating is very positive and we are looking forward to supporting our partners as they enter this newly regulated and exciting marketplace.”
LOTBA accreditation is another significant step forward for the company in Latin America, an important market that the company has invested in significantly over the past few years.
The new accreditation ensures that any operators currently partnered with Play’n GO can expand into Buenos Aires, safe in the knowledge they can continue to offerindustry-leading content in this new market.
Magnus Olsson, Global Head of Sales and Account Management, underscored the importance of adding another landmark accreditation to the company’s portfolio. He commented, “Latin America is a really important market for us, and it’s fantastic to now be able to bring our content to the City of Buenos Aires’ three million inhabitants.
“But it isn’t just our content. We want to bring more to this new market too. Our partners in Buenos Aires can expect the same premiumservice that we give to our customers anywhere else in the world – every single new game we produce will be certified and available for players on the day we promise, without delay or disruption.”
Cristian Acuna, Head of Sales in Latin America, added that the speed at which the City of Buenos Aires was regulating would mean that operators from all over South and Central America would be watching closely.
He said, “We know that the eyes of the LATAM region will be watching Buenos Aires closely, but we are confident that our wide and varied portfolio of content with resonate strongly with players.
“Thanks to our experience in Latin America, we know that what players in Argentina enjoy will be different from players in Colombia, Peru or Mexico. Operators can’t take a ‘one-size fits all’ approach to Latin America, and we don’t either.
“We work closely with our partners throughout South and Central America to ensure they are offering the best entertainment to their players possible, and to help them grow their businesses too. And we can’t wait to get started in Buenos Aires.”
