Best-price sportsbook app SBK joins Oddschecker grid
SBK, the sportsbook app powered by Smarkets, is now live on Oddschecker, allowing the odds comparison site’s three million monthly users to directly compare SBK’s industry-leading pricing against the rest of the market.
SBK’s odds are taken straight from the Smarkets betting exchange – which has been on the Oddschecker grid since March 2018 – meaning the app is the only place in the industry where users can get the unique combination of low-margin exchange pricing and an intuitive sportsbook user experience.
Smarkets CEO/Founder Jason Trost said: “I’m excited that Oddschecker’s substantial user base can now see SBK’s odds on the famous grid. SBK’s blend of the superior pricing of a betting exchange with the simpler interface of a traditional sportsbook is unmatched in the industry, and there is no better place to showcase that than Oddschecker.

SBK boasts its own in-app price comparison feature, Price+, which highlights odds in the app when they are better than those offered by nine leading bookmakers. The app-only sportsbook also features a built-in social network that allows users to like and comment on other users’ bets, share tips with followers, and check out selections from leading tipsters.
Sports bettors can download SBK, which was first launched in 2019, from the App Store for iOS, Play Store for Android, or via getSBK.com.

Kambi Group plc secures licensing approval in Nevada
Approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission paves the way for Kambi to provide its premium sports betting solutions in Las Vegas and across the Silver State
Kambi Group plc (“Kambi”), the home of premium sports betting solutions, has received approval for its Nevada gaming licence applications, marking a significant step towards launching in one of the world’s most iconic betting markets. The Nevada Gaming Commission approved Kambi’s application for Manufacturer & Distributor Licenses and an Information Services License, following a unanimous recommendation by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (“NGCB”) earlier this month.
The licences will enable Kambi to provide its industry-leading sportsbook technology and services to nonrestricted gaming establishments in Las Vegas and across the state of Nevada for the first time. With limited B2B competition in the state due to the high regulatory requirements, Nevada presents Kambi with future growth opportunities in line with its strategy to expand its footprint across the Americas.
Kambi has been at the forefront of the regulated US sports betting industry since 2018, processing the first legal online wager outside of Nevada following the repeal of PASPA. This latest achievement underscores the company’s dedication to delivering world-class sportsbook solutions while adhering to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and corporate probity.

As part of The Unit’s company restructure, its highly successful in-house marketing division will be launched as an agency serving iGaming and sports betting industries
The Unit, a leader in product design and development for sports betting and iGaming, has invested €500,000 to launch marketing agency tentenseven. This exciting transformation of The Unit’s in-house marketing division marks the latest step in its growth strategy and expansion roadmap.
Following an expansion in The Unit’s marketing offering, the marketing team will now operate as tentenseven, which will stand as its own entity. On top of paid search and marketing planning, tentenseven will offer SEO, PPC, social media, brand strategy, editorial content, influencer marketing services and social media production among its many areas of expertise.
Feargal Byrne, Director of Strategic Marketing at The Unit, will head up the new phase of growth at tentenseven as Director of iGaming, Ecommerce and Fintech.
In January, The Unit announced a refresh of its visual brand identity, including a new company logo and redesigned website, which reflected the company’s recent growth and ambitious expansion plans. These expansion plans were signified by the recent opening of The Unit’s North American hub in New York City. As part of the brand refresh, the company is focusing on product design and development, with the marketing side of the business now operating as a standalone agency.
