Yggdrasil futureproofs business with Google Cloud migration
Pioneering move to boost scalability, accelerate development
and reduce costs
Yggdrasil has completed the migration of its development, staging and production environments onto the secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) enabling it to significantly boost scalability, efficiency and flexibility.
Yggdrasil is one of the first industry suppliers to move to the GCP with the Gibraltar Regulator approving the technology transition.
It will allow the award-winning online gaming solutions provider to significantly increase the scalability and efficiency of its game and product software development, including new initiatives such as its GATI solution (Game Adoption Tools & Interface) and YG Franchise, with the time taken to set up new production environments reduced from weeks to hours.
The completion of the year-long cloud project will enable the business to better control costs and scale up or down, as and when needed, without the need for any further hardware investments.
Yggdrasilâs new GATI solution is the power behind its successful YG Masters Program enabling global and local studios and game developer partners with instant access to standardised game engines, game technology and a rapid route to new global markets.
Using the technology agnostic GATI Yggdrasil partners can rapidly create their own content and adapt existing games, while also creating game servers with the source code remaining private and secure. Servers can be made in any technology, while partners can easily integrate multiple games at once. GATI is also continually enhanced with new features including RTP tests, analytics, and cloud deployment.

For example, we can now set up an entire Yggdrasil node, for our own use or by a franchise partner, in any local market, in just a few hours.

SUZOHAPP has announced the appointment of Geoff McDowell as its new President, effective October 1, 2024.
McDowell previously worked at SUZOHAPP from 2010 to 2017, successfully leading the gaming business in Australia and Asia. He rejoins the company from Coinflip, a global digital currency platform, where he was SVP/GM of US Kiosks. Prior to that, he held the position of CEO of Atlas Gaming Pty Ltd, an Australian developer of proprietary gaming content and products.

GROUPE PARTOUCHE: Acquisition of a Building at the Foot of the Arc De Triomphe to House its Parisian Gaming Club and its Head Office

Groupe Partouche has acquired a building, strategically located at Place de lâEtoile in Paris, at 10 avenue de la Grande ArmĂ©e.
With a surface area of over 8000 mÂČ spread over seven levels, this building will undergo development work to accommodate its Parisian gaming club currently located on rue de Berri.
This building will also house the headquarters of Groupe Partouche.
