Stake launches in Mexico via Uno Capali permit structure
Stake has launched its online casino and sportsbook in Mexico, going live on the stake.mx domain as the operator continues its expansion across regulated Latin American markets.
The company said it will operate in Mexico under a permit-based structure regulated by SEGOB (the Ministry of Interior), acting as an agent under Uno Capali’s licence agreement.
Stake positioned the timing around Mexico’s role as a co-host of the 2026 World Cup alongside the USA and Canada, citing the event’s potential for customer acquisition and brand-building.
Stake Director Jarrod Febbraio said: “Mexico is an important and exciting market for us – one that combines strong underlying growth with a deep cultural connection to sport, which aligns perfectly with what Stake is built for.
“We’ve built significant momentum across Latin America in recent years, including in markets such as Peru and Colombia, and Mexico represents a natural next step given its scale and long-term potential.
“With Mexico set to co-host the 2026 football World Cup tournament, the timing of this launch reflects our ability to move with precision into high-value markets at the right moment. Launch timed ahead of Mexico co-hosting the World Cup, establishing Stake’s presence before one of sport’s biggest calendar moments
Stake, the world’s largest online casino and sportsbook, today announces its official launch in Mexico, marking the latest step in its continued global expansion into regulated markets worldwide.
The move brings Stake’s category-leading sportsbook and casino platform to one of Latin America’s most dynamic and fast-growing online gambling markets. Operating from the stake.mx domain, the brand will deliver its globally recognised product to Mexican players – combining a premium user experience with cutting-edge technology, a wide-ranging content portfolio, and a strong mobile-first offering tailored to local preferences.
Mexico’s sports-led betting culture, high mobile penetration and increasing digital adoption make it a natural fit for Stake’s offering. The launch further strengthens the company’s footprint in Latin America, building on its momentum in markets such as Peru and Colombia.

Blask data shows LATAM casino lobbies diverge beyond Pragmatic Play’s baseline
Brazil stands out for crash-game visibility, while Argentina fragments across 15 providers, according to Blask’s review of five markets.
Blask has published new data on casino lobby distribution across five Latin American markets—Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru—finding a shared baseline of Pragmatic Play dominance but sharply different secondary content patterns by country.
Across all five markets, Pragmatic Play “consistently dominates the top 30 most-distributed titles,” accounting for up to 16 positions in each country, Blask said. Beyond that layer, Blask argues there is “no single playbook” for how operators and aggregators build lobbies.
Brazil is the clearest outlier for mechanics, with crash-style titles such as Aviator and JetX appearing in the top 30, while similar formats are “largely absent” in the other markets analyzed. Blask also points to Brazil as the only country where Pocket Games Soft holds a meaningful distribution share, driven by its Fortune series.
Mexico shows the opposite pattern: the highest concentration of Pragmatic Play titles and a thinner secondary layer. Blask flagged Endorphina as an example of a provider appearing in Mexico’s top 30 but not elsewhere in its dataset.
Argentina is described as the most fragmented market, with 15 different providers represented in the top 30—more than any other country in the analysis—and broader visibility for live and table content. Chile “closely mirrors Mexico” structurally, Blask said, but includes a single non-Pragmatic title with near-ubiquitous placement across operator lobbies. Peru, meanwhile, spreads remaining top-30 positions across 12 providers, including studios not seen in the other markets and “legacy European brands such as Novomatic.”
Blask’s conclusion is that operators should not assume a winning lobby mix in one country will translate regionally. “Beyond the dominant layer, performance is defined not by regional trends, but by local player behavior and demand signals,” the company said.
