Amusnet Strengthens its Role in Brazil’s Gaming Future at SBC Summit Rio
Brazil’s gaming market is entering a new phase, driven by regulation, innovation, and a growing focus on sustainable player engagement. At SBC Summit Rio, Amusnet reinforced its commitment to the market through its exhibition presence and active participation in industry discussions shaping the future of gaming in the country.
A Hub for Industry Collaboration
During the event, the Amusnet stand became a meeting point for operators, partners, and industry stakeholders, creating opportunities to explore collaborations and commercial initiatives. The summit provided a valuable platform to strengthen relationships and discuss opportunities as Brazil continues to emerge as one of the most dynamic regulated gaming markets globally.
“Brazil is entering a very exciting phase for the gaming industry. As regulation continues to shape the market, we are seeing strong momentum around collaboration, innovation, and long-term sustainability. Events like SBC Summit Rio are essential for bringing the industry together to exchange ideas and move the market forward,” said Marco Pequeno, Country Manager Brazil at Amusnet.
Driving the Conversation on Game Innovation
A key highlight of Amusnet’s participation was the panel “Engineering the Next Generation of Casino Hits,” moderated by Marco Pequeno on the Tech Innovation Stage.
The discussion brought together leading industry experts, including Stefano De Andrade Lima, Country Manager Brazil at Brabet; Fernando Mora, Business Development Executive, iGaming at Sportradar Brazil; André Sapuca, Head of Product at BetMGM; and Marcelo Vazão, Head of CRM at BTT Group.
During the session, speakers explored how collaboration between operators and game providers, combined with advances in technology and data-driven design, is shaping the next generation of casino experiences. Player retention emerged as one of the industry’s key priorities, with panellists highlighting the growing importance of sustainable engagement strategies supported by reward mechanics, jackpot systems, and personalised gameplay experiences.
“Closer collaboration between operators and suppliers will be critical to building the next generation of successful casino products. By combining technology, data insights, and local market understanding, we can create experiences that truly resonate with players,” Pequeno noted.
Localisation and the Importance of Local Expertise
The conversation also addressed the importance of localisation in creating meaningful player experiences in Brazil. Panellists emphasised that engaging Brazilian audiences requires more than adapting visuals or themes, instead demanding a deeper understanding of cultural nuances and player behaviours.
“Localisation goes far beyond simply adapting themes. To truly engage players in Brazil, we need to understand the cultural nuances and everyday experiences that shape how audiences interact with games,” Pequeno added.
Strengthening Partnerships for Future Growth
Beyond the stage, the event generated strong momentum for Amusnet’s commercial activities in the region. The team held multiple strategic meetings with operators, aggregators, and partners to advance discussions on integrations, marketing collaborations, and future initiatives.
These conversations reinforced Brazil’s strategic importance within Amusnet’s global roadmap and highlighted the increasing demand for suppliers with certified portfolios, localised expertise, and experience operating within regulated markets.
As Amusnet enters its second decade, the company continues to focus on strengthening partnerships and expanding its portfolio of certified solutions.
“Brazil is a strategic market for Amusnet, and our focus is on growing alongside the local industry. By strengthening partnerships and expanding our portfolio, we aim to support operators in delivering engaging and sustainable player experiences,” Pequeno concluded.
