As the new academic year begins, students at the Technical University of Sofia have been presented with a significant upgrade to their learning environment: a fully modernised lecture hall where Bulgaria’s future engineers and IT specialists will be educated. The renovation was actualised through an investment of nearly BGN 400,000 by Amusnet, recognised as the leading software company in 2024. The initiative represents a strategic investment to shape the next generation of engineers and IT specialists to meet evolving market demands.

At an official ceremony, the university’s Rector, Prof. Georgi Venkov, and Amusnet’s Chief Executive Officer, Ivo Georgiev, formally launched the academic year in the new hall. Together, the two parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a framework for future joint initiatives, including hackathons, open lectures and career days.

The space has been transformed into a comfortable and functional environment, integrating convenience and technology to support a high-quality educational curriculum.

In 2024, the company donated servers to the Technical University of Sofia and the Technical University of Gabrovo to modernize their infrastructure, ensuring the availability of advanced technological resources for academic and research activities.
