Global Gaming Women Appoints Pamela Buckley as Executive Vice President
Global Gaming Women (GGW) has appointed Pamela Buckley as Executive Vice President. With more than 20 years of experience in the hotel and casino industry, Pamela brings an extensive track record of success in executive leadership, operations management, and strategic program development. In her new role as Executive Vice President with Global Gaming Women, Pamela will oversee the strategic leadership and direction of Global Gaming Women and bring her expertise and passion to ensure the organization continues to thrive and grow. Pamela will work closely with current Executive Director, Kelly Hatch, and together, they will play a pivotal role in driving Global Gaming Women’s mission forward.

Her wealth of experience in both leadership and gaming, coupled with her passion for community services and helping others, aligns perfectly with our vision for the future. Pamela joins Global Gaming Women from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where she served as Executive Director of Casino VIP Services and Fontainebleau Rewards. During her tenure at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, she established and optimized the Luxury Resort’s Casino VIP Services department as well as Fontainebleau Rewards, where she focused on customer loyalty, revenue generation, operational excellence, and fostering internal and external relationships.
Prior to Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Pamela resided with Caesars Entertainment Inc. and held positions including Director of VIP Operations and Director of Inside Sales over her 23-year career with the gaming giant. She has a strong background in strategic planning, financial management, and building collaborative relationships across multiple channels and diverse landscapes.

Global Gaming Women Celebrates its 10th Anniversary
Global Gaming Women (GGW), a non-profit dedicated to supporting, inspiring, and influencing the development of women in gaming, announced the official kickoff of its 10th anniversary celebration. Throughout 2026, GGW will lead a range of initiatives that celebrate the people, programs and impact of GGW, and advance the organization’s mission.
“For the last ten years, Global Gaming Women has positively influenced the lives and careers of thousands of women in the gaming industry through education, mentorship and training. As we celebrate GGW’s accomplishments and journey to its current state, we are laser focused on scaling our reach and impact while developing the next generation of women in gaming. As a volunteer-driven organization, GGW sincerely thanks the thousands of members and allies who have given their time and talent over the years in support of GGW’s mission and values, and a special thanks to our sponsors for their financial support, without which, none of this would be possible,” said Siobhan Lane, GGW president and board chair.
Some of the highlights of GGW’s 10th anniversary celebration include:
• “Milestones that Moved Us” Content Series: This month, GGW is launching a commemorative content series spotlighting some of the most transformative moments and influencers in the organization’s history. These inspiring stories will be told via captivating video interviews and shared via LinkedIn.
• New Logo, New Merchandise: GGW released a dazzling commemorative logo and a range of branded, anniversary merchandise including sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags and more.
• Enhanced Fair Game Podcast and G2E Programming: As GGW celebrates “A Decade of Impact” it will create captivating podcast content and host G2E activations that honor the organization’s legacy, while amplifying its mission and engaging new and prospective members.
• Elevated Membership Targets: GGW strives to reach the 10,000-member mark in 2026. Membership is free and open to anyone supporting the global gaming sector.
Launched as an independent charitable organization in 2016, GGW currently has more than 9000 members across 70 countries. Last year, GGW provided more than $840,000 in educational scholarships, facilitated 14 in-person training programs across the globe and significantly grew its peer-to-peer and professional mentorship programs, Lean In Circles and OneUpOneDown.

Global Gaming Women Announces 2025 Event Line-Up at Global Gaming Expo
Global Gaming Women (GGW) is proud to announce a dynamic event lineup for the 2025 Global Gaming Expo, offering a week of networking, education, celebration, and fundraising opportunities designed to uplift and empower women across the gaming industry.
Day Zero Celebration: Sunday, October 5
The week kicks off with the Day Zero Celebration, honoring the 10 Women Rising in Gaming: Class of 2025, in partnership with CDC Gaming. This invitation-only event will shine a spotlight on women making an impact in the gaming industry and set the tone for an inspiring week ahead.
GGW Retreat: October 7–9
From Tuesday through Thursday, GGW invites G2E attendees to recharge at the GGW Retreat, located in Lido 3001-3102 on the third floor of the Venetian Expo. Open to all show attendees, the retreat will offer coffee, free updated professional headshots, GGW profile assistance, a chance to meet the hosts of the GGW Fair Game podcast and a quiet, relaxing space to take a break from the show floor. Hours for the space will be as follows:
- Tuesday, October 7: 9AM-5PM
- Wednesday, October 8: 9AM-5PM
- Thursday, October 9: 9AM-1PM
American Gaming Association’s Gaming Hall of Fame: October 7
GGW will proudly celebrate the induction of founding member Ann Simmon Nicholson into the American Gaming Association’s Gaming Hall of Fame. This historic honor recognizes her enduring contributions and passionate advocacy for women in gaming. This event is invitation only.
Sip & Social: October 8
GGW is excited to announce the return of the Sip & Social networking event, which will take place at 8:00-8:45AM in Venetian Ballroom F. Following, in partnership with the Global Gaming Expo, RX Global and the American Gaming Association, GGW will host G2E’s Wednesday main stage session at 9AM, free to attend for credentialed G2E attendees. Back with a powerful new format, this year’s session is titled Breaking the Stigma: An Honest Dialogue on Mental Health and will feature a fireside chat with Kendall Toole, top fitness instructor, community builder and mental health advocate. This conversation will change the way attendees think about wellness both at work and outside of the office. Participants can expect to engage in networking opportunities and strengthen their industry connections all while gaining valuable insight about this important topic.
Kick Up Your Heels Fundraiser: October 8
Join GGW at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas for the 15th Annual Kick Up Your Heels Fundraiser, supporting the GGW Charitable Education Fund. The evening includes a tribute to Patty Becker, founder of the event, and honors recipients of the Patty Becker Pay it Forward Award.

Global Gaming Women Appoints Cynthia Gonzalez as its New Education and Programs Manager
Global Gaming Women (GGW) has appointed Cynthia Gonzalez as its new Education and Programs Manager.
Cynthia brings nearly 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, with a comprehensive background spanning business operations, marketing, and finance. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong aptitude for strategic planning, revenue forecasting, and the design and execution of high-impact initiatives that support both individual growth and organizational excellence.
In her new role at GGW, Cynthia will lead the development and implementation of the organization’s educational, mentorship, and membership programs, in addition to overseeing events and programming operations. Her strategic mindset, financial acumen, and passion for empowering women make her an outstanding addition to the GGW team.
