Caesars Announces $32.5M Expansion to Indiana Grand

Caesars Entertainment has announced a $32.5 million expansion to its Indiana Grand Racing & Casino. Construction is set to start on April 1 and the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The expansion is expected to create more than 100 new casino jobs.

Currently, Indiana Grand has about 100,000 square feet of gaming space. The 25,000-square-foot expansion will provide space for 100 new slot machines and 25 additional gaming tables. The project also will add a 5000-square-foot World Series of Poker room with 20 tables and a 20-seat video poker bar.

Mike Rich, senior vice president and general manager of Indiana Grand, previously said that the racino has seen strong interest in live dealer table games, which prompted the expansion.

Prior to January 1, the state’s two horse track racing casinos were only allowed to have computer dealers, as opposed to live dealer table games.

“Since the implementation of table games in early 2020, we have looked forward to expanding our gaming operations. This growth will allow us to accommodate more guests and add more talented team members to the Indiana Grand family, and with the addition of a state-of-the-art Poker Room, we will expand our casino offerings to include some of the most notable programs in the United States, including World Series of Poker,” Rich said in a written statement.

Caesars, which was acquired by Eldorado Resorts earlier this year, owns and operates Indiana Grand. The merged company operates under the Caesars name.

Caesars Entertainment and The Resort at Summerlin will celebrate the official grand opening of Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and ceremonial first bet on Tuesday, 3 March.

The event will feature former Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland, along with remarks from Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, and Michelle McHugh, Vice President and General Manager of The Resort at Summerlin. Following the opening, there will also be a special VGK Watch Party inside the new sportsbook for the 4 p.m. Golden Knights game with special giveaways and promotional offers for sports fans.

Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin is the first Caesars Sportsbook location to open in Summerlin.

Caesars Entertainment announced the domestic schedule for the WSOP Online 2025 fall series. This year’s schedule features 33 coveted bracelet events and marks the first time the fall online series will operate with pooled liquidity across four major U.S. jurisdictions: Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

The series kicks off with Event #1: NL Hold’em $300K GTD Mystery Bounty and includes fan favorites such as Event #16: NL Hold’em $500K GTD Mystery Bounty Championship on Oct. 12, Event #25: $1000 Online Championship on Nov. 2, and Event #32: $3200 NL Hold’em High Roller Championship on Nov. 9.

All bracelet and circuit ring winners will receive a $5000 WSOP Paradise package, which includes hotel accommodation and entry into Event #1: Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty No-limit Hold’em, which features a $5M guarantee.

The 2025 WSOP Online fall domestic schedule offers a wide range of buy-ins, with 23 events priced below $1000, seven events at $1000 buy-ins, and three High Roller events at $2000 or higher. Buy-ins range from $250 to $3200 for the series, catering to players of all levels.
