BetWinner Enters into Partnership with ESPN Brasil’s SportsCenter
BetWinner has entered into a partnership with ESPN’s flagship program SportsCenter, a daily national and international sporting events highlights show, to increase its footprint in Brazil.
The four-month partnership will see BetWinner’s imagery and QR code appear in the Sportscenter programs.
Gustavo Hiroshi, country manager at Betwinner in Brazil, said the deal shows how it has significantly increased its footprint in Brazil.
“We are very pleased to close an agreement with ESPN channels,” Hiroshi said. “That our brand will appear in the Sportscenter programs for a period of four months and is a reflection of our growth in Brazil.”
He added that this ongoing focus on Brazil will also see the operator hire more staff to deal with the country.
“This will also be reflected in future hiring in the area of human resources to operate in the country,” Hiroshi said.
João Vaz, Director of Public Relations at Betwinner, added that the operator was looking forward to announcing further partnerships in the near future.
“Our desire is to bring entertainment to people through sport and this partnership represents Betwinner very well, as the SportsCenter dialogues with lovers of various sports. It is only the beginning of several initiatives and partnerships that we are planning for the Brazilian market,” Vaz said.
“This is all only possible thanks to the support that we have received from our Brazilian customer base,” Vaz added.
Sports betting is not yet regulated in Brazil, but the country has worked to create a framework for the vertical since 2018, when then-president Michel Temer ratified legislation that paved the way for the country’s National Congress to implement regulations.

SBC Summit Rio: An Exploration of the Dynamic Brazilian Landscape
The inaugural edition of SBC Summit Rio will see 3,000 industry professionals with a keen interest in the Brazilian market convene at the Windsor Convention and Expo Center in Rio de Janeiro from March 5 to 7.
