ITL successfully showcase biometric and cash handling technology at ICE Barcelona
Innovative Technology (ITL) return from Barcelona after three days of successful networking and information exchange with new prospects and opportunities generated from the vibrant gaming and casino market. The booth showcased their latest innovations from both the cash handling side of the business as well as their biometric age and facial access control division.
Summarising their presence at the show, Marcus Tiedt, ITL Sales & Marketing Director said, “Thank you to all the customers, partners and industry experts who took time out to see our latest innovations. Our demo linking our age & access control system replicating an 18+ gate entrance and on-machine age verification was the star of the show. ICU Lite offers age estimation directly at the machine so manufacturers and operators can simply and quickly integrate age checks to help ensure player protection, prevent underage gambling and provide a seamless gaming experience for 18+ players. This compact USB size hardware can be easily plugged into gaming machines to automate age checks and when teamed with MyCheckr placed at 18+ casino entrances or access gates, we can provide a full solution for secure age related access control. Linking our devices with MyConnect we offer an efficient way for casino staff to remotely respond to any underage play or access attempts and using facial recognition it can even work with self-exclusion lists.”
