GeoComply Core for Authentication was launched to address the estimated 30 percent user drop-off caused by KBA

GeoComply Solutions Inc. (“GeoComply”) announced that its latest innovation, GeoComply Core for Authentication (CfA), is now available to streamline cumbersome registration requirements for players and bolster security, helping prevent fraudsters from setting up malicious gaming accounts.

CfA is a frictionless know-your-customer (KYC) authentication alternative for knowledge-based authentication (KBA). CfA offers the ability to authenticate the user through several data points instantly. CfA’s user-friendliness and robust security make this new GeoComply solution an essential tool for online gaming operators looking to improve customer acquisition conversion rates and maintain compliance in the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has given the green light to this state-of-the-art solution. CfA is a much-needed alternative to traditional methodologies that often lead to friction during the customer onboarding process. CfA provides an authentication solution fit for New Jersey or any other jurisdiction where regulations require KBA, document verification, or other forms of enhanced KYC due diligence.

Lindsay Slader, GeoComply’s Sr. Vice President of Compliance, expressed her excitement over the NJDGE’s decision: “This approval underscores our dedication to creating industry-leading solutions that meet the highest compliance and security standards. With the introduction of this product, we aim to expand our customers’ player acquisition funnel, while simultaneously ensuring the integrity of the online gaming ecosystem. We appreciate the New Jersey DGE’s commitment to innovation that fosters a secure and player-friendly online gambling environment for the state’s residents.”

Prophet Exchange, the first sports betting exchange in the U.S., operating in New Jersey, will be the first to deploy GeoComply’s new CfA solution. Jake Benzaquen, Co-Founder of Prophet Exchange, remarked: “In the competitive world of sports wagering, ensuring a seamless experience for legitimate users while keeping fraudsters out is paramount. Converting registrations to bettors is also of the utmost importance in this highly regulated landscape. GeoComply’s new product offers precisely that – a blend of ideal player UX and security. We’re thrilled to integrate this solution into our platform.”

DraftKings renews multi-year agreement with GeoComply

draftkings-renews-multi-year-agreement-with-geocomply

DraftKings and GeoComply have been working together for more than a decade, throughout some of the most technically demanding moments in modern gaming.

Today, we’re proud to announce that DraftKings has extended its multi-year agreement with GeoComply. Our collaboration, which dates back to the early days of Daily Fantasy Sports, goes beyond compliance, founded upon a shared track record under real pressure.

Part announcement, part celebration, read on to learn about the history we’ve walked and what we’re looking forward to next.

A different kind of proof

The extension comes on the heels of DraftKings’ Super App launch, a unified platform strategy, that allows customers to access either sportsbook or sports predictions depending on their location. Along with a high-calibre player experience, this demands higher scale, and a higher bar across fraud, geolocation, and compliance.

GeoComply has supported DraftKings through record traffic, major sporting events, and industry-wide disruptions. That track record forms the foundation of this collaboration.

What makes the signals different

This relationship has been built on a foundation that can’t be easily replicated: signal intelligence at scale. GeoComply processes 2.5 billion checks a month, generating a living picture of user behaviour, device integrity, and location authenticity that gets sharper with every transaction.

For DraftKings, those signals aren’t a standalone verification step bolted onto the side of their stack. They’re embedded directly into internal risk workflows, informing step-up authentication, powering automated decisioning, and enabling proactive threat detection before bad actors get a foothold.

That’s the difference between geolocation as a compliance checkbox and geolocation as trust infrastructure. DraftKings has been running the latter for years.

What comes next

Under the extended agreement, DraftKings and GeoComply will continue to deliver real-time geolocation and compliance services, supported by dedicated forward-deployed engineering support.

“The operators winning this next cycle are treating geolocation intelligence as critical trust infrastructure,” said Kip Levin, CEO of GeoComply. “DraftKings has done that for years. This extension reflects how seriously they take the architecture behind player trust—and it’s what lets them keep moving fast on everything else.”

The goal: stay ahead of what’s next, together.

Hard Rock Digital and GeoComply announced an expansion of their long-standing partnership, deepening Hard Rock Bet’s use of GeoComply’s digital identity platform across onboarding, fraud prevention and compliance.

The expanded agreement reflects a long-term commitment to a unified identity infrastructure that continuously assesses trust across the player journey. As fraud becomes more sophisticated and increasingly AI-driven, GeoComply combines machine learning with real-world signal intelligence to detect threats in real time. At the core of this platform is IDComply, which integrates KYC data with deep device intelligence, precise location signals (down to 5m), and real-time behavioural analytics to deliver continuous identity verification.

“Hard Rock Bet players expect a world-class experience from the moment they engage with us. By integrating identity verification, KYC, fraud signals, and geolocation compliance into a single platform, we have created a more seamless experience for our players,” said Mike Primeaux, Hard Rock Digital Executive Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer.

“In today’s environment, operators are recognizing that fragmented identity and location intelligence solutions create both risk and friction. Hard Rock Bet figured out early that security and growth move together. By bringing together geolocation, fraud, and digital identity in a single platform, operators can detect emerging threats faster and make more accurate decisions at scale,” said Kip Levin, CEO of GeoComply.

GeoComply Launches Unified Identity Platform for Brazil

GeoComply has launched a unified identity platform for Brazil, bringing KYC verification, anti-fraud intelligence, and geolocation compliance together in a single value package designed specifically for the country’s regulated iGaming market.

“Brazil is one of the most complex and fast-moving regulated markets in the world, and operators there are dealing with challenges that off-the-shelf solutions simply aren’t built for. We’ve taken the same approach that has delivered industry-leading pass rates across more than 30 jurisdictions—custom-built, locally tuned, obsessively optimized—and applied it to Brazil. The result is a single platform that solves KYC, fraud, and compliance together, so operators can focus on growth instead of managing vendor sprawl,” said Kip Levin, CEO of GeoComply.

The platform is designed to make trust-versus-risk decisions clear from the first interaction—helping operators welcome legitimate players quickly while acting decisively against fraud.

Best-in-Class Pass Rates, Made Easy

At the core of the Brazil launch is a managed, local KYC waterfall delivered through one endpoint. Instead of stitching together fragmented vendor integrations and inconsistent onboarding flows, operators gain access to leading Brazilian data sources through a continuously optimized identity infrastructure.

Players experience a streamlined registration journey with docless flows that leverage CPF validation, while operators achieve stronger pass rates without increasing operational complexity or manual review queues.

This same identity framework has delivered pass rates above 95% across U.S. states and above 90% in the UK, demonstrating a repeatable model for improving conversion in regulated markets.

“As we grow internationally, we know we can trust GeoComply to deliver excellent results and show up as a strategic partner that is focused on our success. Their team’s expertise and dedication to getting it right have helped us achieve high pass rates and an excellent player experience in Brazil and Argentina, all while giving the entire team at Betano peace of mind that we are meeting evolving regulatory standards,” said George Moschetas, Director of Product at Kaizen Gaming, the parent company of Betano.

Fraud Intelligence That Extends Beyond Registration

What differentiates GeoComply from standalone KYC vendors is what happens after verification. The platform applies real-time device, location, and behavioral intelligence throughout the player lifecycle—helping operators detect deepfakes, local mule rings, and account takeover attempts without disrupting legitimate users.

Machine learning models trained specifically for Brazil analyze device manipulation, high-risk location activity, and cross-account linkages in real time—while supporting AML compliance requirements through continuous monitoring.

One Platform. One Partner.

Rather than layering separate KYC vendors, fraud tools, and geolocation providers, operators gain a unified identity infrastructure and a single operational partner.

GeoComply manages vendor relationships, waterfall optimization, regulatory alignment, and continuous model tuning—supported by a dedicated Fraud and Risk team that works alongside operators as threats evolve. The platform delivers up to 99.7% geolocation pass rates and 99.999% uptime reliability in regulated environments.
