Saracen Casino Resort Selects Global Payments’ iGaming Solutions to Launch Arkansas’ First Sports Betting App
Global Payments Gaming Solutions has announced that Saracen Casino Resort in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, has selected its igaming solutions for its new sports betting app, BetSaracen.
Founded in 2019, Saracen Casino Resort provides a luxurious casino gaming experience in the heart of Arkansas. With an 80,000 square foot gaming area, 2300 slot machines, and nearly 40 table games, Saracen Gaming Resort is renowned for its in-person gaming. However, Saracen Casino Resort has its eyes on the future.
Earlier this year, the state of Arkansas legalized mobile sports betting, and gaming institutions are eager to offer a mobile solution. Saracen Casino Resort is breaking into the mobile gaming industry with BetSaracen, the state’s first mobile sports betting app.
Global Payments’ iGaming solutions allow casinos to leverage a multi-channel approach to connect online and brick-and-mortar gaming. Global Payments’ VIP Lightspeed platform powers funding and withdrawals for iGaming, while VIP Preferred e-check network allows users to effortlessly access funds from their checking account.
“As we enter the mobile gaming space, we wanted to offer the best possible gaming experience. With Global Payment’s iGaming solutions, we can provide our patrons with a broad assortment of gaming and payment options,” Carlton Saffa, CMO at Saracen Casino resort, said.
“As an industry leader, Global Payments Gaming Solutions strives to provide patrons with the flexibility to game from any location. We are excited to work with Saracen Casino Resort and help them launch Arkansas’ first mobile sports betting app,” Christopher Justice, President of Global Payments Gaming Solutions, said.

Paysafe enters Arkansas iGaming market with BetSaracen
Mobile sportsbook from Quapaw Nation’s Saracen Casino Resort adds Paysafe’s Skrill USA digital wallet to facilitate payments for sports wagering
Paysafe, a leading specialized payments platform, announced its entry into the Arkansas mobile sports-betting market through a partnership with BetSaracen, the sportsbook app from Saracen Casino Resort in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, which is owned by the Quapaw Tribe, based in Oklahoma. The partnership’s first phase sees BetSaracen integrate Paysafe’s Skrill USA digital wallet to enable players to make frictionless deposits and payouts.
Sports bettors in Arkansas – the 22nd U.S. state or jurisdiction where Paysafe has an iGaming payments footprint – can now use Skrill USA to instantly fund a wager with BetSaracen’s iOS and Android apps. A streamlined registration process with Skrill USA, which enjoyed a product revamp last fall, allows players to link their bank accounts with the digital wallet. They can then deposit into their BetSaracen account in a matter of seconds via instant online bank transfer – and begin wagering on North American sports-league games and international sports.
Alternatively, BetSaracen customers can fund their Skrill USA accounts by simply entering their debit or credit card info, or by using Paysafe’s Paysafecash online cash, or eCash, solution, which is available at thousands of in-store retailers in Arkansas and across the wider U.S.
Cashing-out their winnings from the BetSaracen apps is just as simple for Arkansas sports bettors, with funds accessible in their Skrill USA accounts in real time. Once their bank accounts are linked to Skrill USA, players can also transfer winnings from their digital wallet account within seconds.
Beyond Skrill USA, BetSaracen’s connectivity to the Paysafe platform will allow the operator to access the company’s complete suite of traditional and alternative payment methods going forward.
Zak Cutler, CEO of North America iGaming at Paysafe, said: “We’re proud to expand into the Arkansas iGaming market with an established local operator that has strong brand recognition in the state and in neighboring Oklahoma, where the Quapaw Nation are based. We’re confident that BetSaracen’s players will find our Skrill USA digital wallet a game-changing payment solution for sports wagering.”
Carlton Saffa, Chief Market Officer at Saracen Casino Resort and BetSaracen, commented: “When partnering with Paysafe, we were impressed by the ease of use of the company’s payment solutions and Skrill USA in particular. With Skrill USA, we know we’re offering Arkansans a best-in-class digital wallet that facilitates and enhances the wagering experience with the BetSaracen mobile sportsbook app.”

On the heels of being granted approval by the Arkansas Racing Commission to provide its MoneyLine platform to licensed operators across the state, PayNearMe announced Saracen Casino Resort’s new online sports wagering app, BetSaracen, is live on MoneyLine, allowing players to go from deposit to play quickly and easily using convenient payment types including PayPal and Venmo, as well as cash at 245 retail locations across the state.
“With MoneyLine, we are giving our players the option of the fastest and most convenient way to make deposits using their favorite digital payment types or cash at participating retail locations in Arkansas. Additionally, MoneyLine’s integration with Amelco, BetSaracen’s sports betting platform, makes it easy to provide our players with additional deposit and withdrawal channels in the future, including the forthcoming ability to make real-time, cardless cash withdrawals at ATMs,” Carlton Saffa, Chief Market Officer at Saracen Casino Resort, said.
Managing deposits and payouts is a complex process that requires technology designed specifically for the iGaming industry. PayNearMe has deep expertise in the gaming industry and worked closely with the Arkansas Gaming Commission to ensure MoneyLine is compliant with all applicable statutory requirements.
“We’re excited to offer our best-in-class iGaming payments platform to Arkansas operators and partner with Saracen to deliver player-preferred tender types, including PayPal, Venmo and cash. We look forward to being able to further expand their payment options as they grow, while helping them manage costs and maximize revenue,” Leighton Webb, VP and GM of iGaming and Sports Betting at PayNearMe, said.
