Mohegan Announces Leadership Appointments

Mohegan has announced two key leadership appointments, reinforcing its executive team as the organization continues its development and evolution as a global entertainment company.

Joe Lobe has been named Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel, where he will oversee the company’s global legal, compliance, and risk management functions and serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. Lobe, who joined Mohegan in 2008, most recently served as Acting Chief Legal Officer and has held leadership roles spanning mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational governance. He brings deep expertise in regulatory strategy, negotiations involving complex commercial transactions, and enterprise risk management.

Kelly Sullivan has been named Senior Vice President & Chief People Officer, where she will lead Mohegan’s enterprise-wide people strategy and culture initiatives. Sullivan, a longtime Mohegan leader serving recently as Vice President of People Operations, will oversee global human capital strategy, including talent, organizational design, and team member development. She brings over 15 years of experience across the gaming, hospitality, and entertainment sectors, including leadership on major international development projects.

Together, Lobe and Sullivan will help support Mohegan’s portfolio of premier destinations and digital gaming operations in the US and Canada, as well as its continued development efforts.
