Lawrence Koo Joins Paytently as Chief Product Officer

Paytently, one of the fastest-growing innovators in payment orchestration, purpose-built for specialised sectors, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Lawrence Koo as Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Lawrence brings over a decade of experience at the forefront of payments innovation, most recently at global open banking provider Trustly. During his eight-year tenure, he held leadership roles across strategy, customer success, product, and as COO of Trustly’s FCA-licensed UK entity. Prior to joining Trustly, Lawrence worked in investment banking and M&A, giving him a strong foundation in financial strategy and corporate growth. During his time at Trustly, the company scaled from around 100 employees to more than 1,000, providing Lawrence with first-hand experience in driving growth and product expansion at pace.
At Paytently, Lawrence will focus on driving innovation in a highly competitive market and delivering products that customers truly value. His remit includes building out Paytently’s feature-rich orchestration platform, developed entirely from scratch with no legacy technology,
while harnessing the power of machine learning and AI. He will also lead the expansion of the company’s product offering through a customer-led approach, ensuring merchants in regulated sectors gain access to smarter, more efficient, and future-ready payment solutions.
Speaking on his appointment, Lawrence Koo said:
“The opportunity at Paytently is unique. The team has built a next-generation orchestration platform from the ground up, designed with the needs of regulated industries at its core. My focus will be to accelerate product innovation, leverage AI, and expand our offering in close partnership with customers. Paytently has the right talent, technology, and ambition to set a new standard in payments, and I am thrilled to be joining at this pivotal stage of growth.”
Samuel Barrett, CEO and Co-Founder of Paytently, commented on Lawrence’s appointment:
“I had the privilege of working with Lawrence at Trustly, and I can honestly say that his leadership and deep expertise in the payments industry will be invaluable to Paytently. His ability to drive growth and spark innovation is unparalleled, and I’m confident that with Lawrence on board, our team will elevate our platform and deliver even more value to our customers.”

SHINE ON DRAGON’S DIAMONDS

This text contains puns. Reader discretion is advised.
“Dragon’s Diamonds” is now live, a fang-tastic 6×5 new scatter-pays slot from the Berlin-based developer Hölle Games with wins of up to 12,000x.
Unlike the miserly reputation they’re known for (a tall tail), the Hölle Dragon is a generous beast (with a fiery personality). With every matching cluster that lands, the Dragon will breathe flames onto the reels – removing winning symbols and allowing more to fall into place. There is no limit to the number of potential cascades that can occur here, so lucky players can quickly scale-up their hoard of wins.
Plus, hitting 4 or more scatters to enter the Free Spins will unlock the Feature Multiplier, which cumulates all Multiplier wins across the entirety of the Free Spins. Re-triggers can be clawed out too, with only 3 scatters needed.
For any players who find the base game is dragon-on, there is the Stake Boost feature, which increases the chances of hitting the Feature for a slightly higher stake, or also the option of directly entering Free Spins via the Feature Buy. That’s no fire-drill!
The game is now available for MGA with other territories winging it this way soon.
