Hacksaw Gaming Enters Into Sponsorship Agreement with AD Alcorcón
Hacksaw Gaming is excited to announce a sponsorship deal with Spanish football club AD Alcorcón.
Running throughout the 2022/23 football season, the agreement will see Hacksaw Gaming’s logo displayed on the team’s football shirts as well as advertising hoardings placed around the Municipal de Santo Domingo stadium, home of AD Alcorcón.
Designed to enhance brand exposure in the fast-growing Spanish market, the partnership is the first of its kind between Hacksaw Gaming and a professional sports team. Buoyed by another hugely successful year, Hacksaw Gaming has laid out ambitious plans for 2023 with strategic branding opportunities central to growth targets across a number of jurisdictions.
The company’s roster of games has been warmly received by players in Spain since launching last year and the sponsorship of AD Alcorcón aims to build on its strong market entry. Furthermore, the deal will provide an additional revenue stream for AD Alcorcón while helping to raise the team’s profile.
More announcements are expected in due course as Hacksaw Gaming looks to position itself for continued growth on the international stage.
Founded in 1971, AD Alcorcón plays in the Spanish Primera Federación division.
Fresh off the back of a hard-fought 1-0 win over FC Talavera on Saturday, February 11th, AD Alcorcón currently sit atop their division by two points over arch-rivals Real Madrid Castilla, the reserve team of one of the most successful teams of all-time, Real Madrid.
The club’s high point came on October 27, 2009, when they defeated a star-studded Real Madrid line-up containing no fewer than nine full international players 4-0 in the first leg of their round-of-32 Copa del Rey tie. It was the first time AD Alcorcón had faced opponents from Spain’s top footballing tier, going on to record a memorable 4-1 aggregate victory to etch their place in folklore.
