Evan’s Remains and Grim Nights available to claim for free and keep forever in February’s GX.games Monthly Drop by Opera GX
This month, GX.games – the platform where creators and developers meet the 20 million strong audience of the Opera GX gaming browser – will once again be serving up two tasty indie sizzlers for free, as part of the ‘GX.games Monthly Drop’ initiative introduced last year.
“This month we are introducing a beautifully stylized puzzle platformer and a zombie strategy survival game. With this Monthly Drop, we show the wide variety of games for everyone’s taste on GX.Games and expand on the claim it titles released earlier this year. GX.games users are in store for an absolute treat – with Evan’s Remains and Grim Nights the latest to land on the platform for free this month,” said Mattijs de Valk, VP of Content Acquisition at Opera.
First up on GX.games this month is Evan’s Remains – a beautiful mystery-based puzzle adventure game complete with a gripping narrative, designed by Matias Schmied and published by Whitehorn Games. Evan’s Remains is Matias Schmied’s first attempt at creating a full length game, influenced by the “Ace Attorney Series”, it started out as a vision about a girl, Dysis, on a deserted island and turned out to be a story-rich adventure about a boy genius named Evan that disappeared. As Dysis you’ll need to solve an intricate series of puzzles to unravel the entire mystery – and bring Evan home. Evan’s Remains is available on GX.games to claim for free and keep forever from now until 16th February.
Later this month, the popular side scrolling strategy game, Grim Nights by Edym Pixels will also be hitting GX.games for free. In Grim Nights the objective is simple – defend your village for 13 nights against hordes of the undead. But to stand any chance of not being dead by dawn, you’ve got to gather resources, expand your village, train your soldiers and get your defensive strategy just right – or you’re toast. Grim Nights is a challenging game with high replayability loved by many indie-fans among the community. The title will be available as a claim it only on GX.games from 16th February until the 2nd of March
To get your hands on either Evan’s Remains or Grim Nights for free this month, just head over to GX.games, click on the game, create an account, and press “claim it.”
On top of these hugely popular indie gems, GX.games offers instant access to many more high-quality indie games available, including Hero’s Hour, Princess Farmer, Sheepo and Leaf Blower Revolution.

SHINE ON DRAGON’S DIAMONDS

This text contains puns. Reader discretion is advised.
“Dragon’s Diamonds” is now live, a fang-tastic 6×5 new scatter-pays slot from the Berlin-based developer Hölle Games with wins of up to 12,000x.
Unlike the miserly reputation they’re known for (a tall tail), the Hölle Dragon is a generous beast (with a fiery personality). With every matching cluster that lands, the Dragon will breathe flames onto the reels – removing winning symbols and allowing more to fall into place. There is no limit to the number of potential cascades that can occur here, so lucky players can quickly scale-up their hoard of wins.
Plus, hitting 4 or more scatters to enter the Free Spins will unlock the Feature Multiplier, which cumulates all Multiplier wins across the entirety of the Free Spins. Re-triggers can be clawed out too, with only 3 scatters needed.
For any players who find the base game is dragon-on, there is the Stake Boost feature, which increases the chances of hitting the Feature for a slightly higher stake, or also the option of directly entering Free Spins via the Feature Buy. That’s no fire-drill!
The game is now available for MGA with other territories winging it this way soon.
