Betsoft Gaming Enters Romanian Market with 888 Deal

Betsoft Gaming, an award-winning content provider, has announced the launch of its slot gaming titles into the Romanian market on 888casino, one of the world’s leading online casino brands and part of 888 Holdings plc.
Building further on the 2021 deal signed with 888 Holdings, the teams will continue their successful integration of Betsoft’s portfolio across key regulated European markets. With Italy and Spain and Sweden already live, Betsoft is consolidating its presence across the continent with 888.
This latest deal will see 888 host Betsoft’s award-winning portfolio, which includes big hit releases Primal Hunt, Stacked and Take the Bank as well as the renowned magic release Book of Darkness.
888 has been an established casino operator across Romania since 2016. It is licenced by the National Gambling Office of Romania and offers Romanian players a unique and fully localised offer in their own currency.
New players will be able to enjoy generous welcome bonus offers and the 888 Club offers Player Points that can be redeemed for prizes. With a population of just over 19 million, an established casino sector and one of the world’s fastest internet speeds, Romania is a burgeoning market for online gaming.
“We have been delighted with the smooth integration of our award-winning games across the 888 sites. Romania is an exciting growth market for us and one where we are already well-known, so we are looking forward to a very successful launch with 888,” Anastasia Bauer, Head of Account Management at Betsoft Gaming, said.
“We are delighted to be hosting Betsoft’s dynamic and high-quality content titles for our Romanian players. Their localised releases help enhance our selection of innovative and exciting games as we continue the roll out of this partnership across our European sites, and we are looking forward to extending our partnership further around the world into the future,” Talya Benyamini, VP B2C Casino at 888, said.

Kongebonus statement: Norway’s election result signals gambling policy continuity, but licensing debate is set to intensify

With the centre-left retaining a narrow majority, Norway’s gambling framework is set to remain largely unchanged in the near term.
Norsk Tipping’s monopoly will continue, and enforcement tools such as payment and DNS blocking of unregulated operators are likely to remain in focus. While a shift to a licensing model appears unlikely this parliamentary term, the Progress Party’s stronger position as the main opposition keeps the reform debate active.
For industry stakeholders, the sensible course is to concentrate on compliant, sustainable strategies and to track policy signals closely as the debate continues.
