Gaming manufacturer Interblock announced its second installation of the Universal Cabinet Blackjack in the Romanian market, at the new Elite Slots Casino in Pitesti, Romania.
“Elite Slots Pitesti is a unique location in Romania. The largest slot hall in the city of Pitesti opened its doors on July 15, 2022 and the reactions of the visitors who stepped on its gaming floor exceed all expectations. The unique design manages to harmoniously combine modern elegance with luxury and comfort on an area of over 1000 square meters. The main areas of interest are the new Interblock gaming terminals, which are connected to three different Live Roulette Systems: Live Marriott Casino, Live Platinum Casino, and Live Elite Roulette. On the other hand, the new Interblock Universal Cabinets present enormous potential for the future,” said Mr. Laszlo Sepsi, Management Representative, Elite Slots Romania.
“One of the company highlights in the European region, this summer, was the successful installation at the Elite Slots Pitesti venue in Pitesti, Romania. The venue looks great with its fantastic atmosphere and wide variety of games. It is the first gaming hall in Romania with our latest Universal Cabinet Blackjack and Diamond PlayStations connected to Live Casino Roulette. The Universal Cabinet product line is one of Interblock’s latest breakthrough form-factors, offering an entirely new way for players to interact with their favourite table games – elevating the experience for all, from the novice player to the expert. The unique cabinet is an innovative spin on casino table game classics, supporting Roulette, Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, Sic Bo and Big Six. The Universal Cabinet Blackjack offers players the freedom to play the way they want and operators the ability to bring Blackjack to new spaces. The personal mechanical dealer provides players with an intimate Blackjack experience and a sense of authenticity, driving entertainment, value and engagement.

Kongebonus statement: Norway’s election result signals gambling policy continuity, but licensing debate is set to intensify

With the centre-left retaining a narrow majority, Norway’s gambling framework is set to remain largely unchanged in the near term.
Norsk Tipping’s monopoly will continue, and enforcement tools such as payment and DNS blocking of unregulated operators are likely to remain in focus. While a shift to a licensing model appears unlikely this parliamentary term, the Progress Party’s stronger position as the main opposition keeps the reform debate active.
For industry stakeholders, the sensible course is to concentrate on compliant, sustainable strategies and to track policy signals closely as the debate continues.
