Company reveals a substantial rise in player value after casinos add sports betting
DATA.BET, a leading sportsbook solution supplier, reports notable performance improvements among casino operators that introduced sports betting through the company’s plug-and-play integration.
According to internal statistics across multiple clients, adding a betting vertical resulted in players who use both casino and sports betting, generating up to a 4x increase in player lifetime value (LTV) compared to their previous casino-only behavior, while the same betting-active segment delivered an average 12% additional revenue without additional player acquisition. Operators also recorded higher retention and engagement levels, with every second casino player placing at least one sports bet after the sportsbook launch.
The clients have noticed these results after integrating a Single Page Application (iFrame), which takes around one week. While DATA.BET manages all betting-related operations and configurations — both at launch and ongoing — casino operators instantly gain access to a full suite of sports, esports, and virtual sports events, allowing them to focus on marketing and player acquisition. To enhance flexibility and engagement, the iFrame supports full customization: from color themes and layouts to dynamic banners, promo blocks, configurable bonuses, and margin/odds control.
The company designed the SEO-friendly solution to ensure that search engine crawlers can easily read and index the content, thereby improving discoverability, page load times, and the overall quality of metadata, which contributes to higher SEO rankings and better visibility in organic search results.
Yurii Berest, CEO of DATA.BET, commented: “For many casinos, betting is more than diversification – it helps operators to maximize the potential of their existing audience and improve the efficiency of traffic monetization. As the average stake in sports is traditionally higher than in slots, operators experience instant revenue growth while retaining and extending player lifetime value. It is a powerful model of sustainable growth that helps to boost not only the current player base but also attract new audience”.
As the market continues shifting toward universal gambling ecosystems, DATA.BET’s solution demonstrates that sports betting drives measurable financial impact for casino operators, turning existing audiences into long-term revenue drivers.

DATA.BET has published first-year performance results for its sports betting vertical, marking 12 months since the product’s official launch. The supplier said results from newly acquired clients show 39.7% GGR growth and 147.6% growth in active users over the period.
The company also reported turnover up 30.7% quarter-on-quarter. It said betting activity increased, with the number of bets and stake volume up 83.5%, while combo bets rose 160.5%.
By sport, DATA.BET said football led engagement, with bet counts up 107.5% and active users up 173.1%. Table Tennis saw a 172.5% increase in its player base, while tennis posted bet counts up 33.6% and active players up 35%. The supplier pointed to basketball as the strongest commercial contributor, with turnover up 83.7% and its user base up 96.8%.
DATA.BET attributed performance to product features including Bet Builder (football, basketball, baseball, and American football), streaming within the betting interface, and widgets for match and player data. The company also highlighted official data partnerships with Infront (tennis), Odds Composer (basketball), Genius Sports, and BETER.
At tournament level, DATA.BET said the England Premier League was the most profitable tournament over the full year, with event count up 45.7% and “close to half of total betting volume” generated through the 1X2 market. The supplier added that top-tier tournaments outperformed low-tier disciplines across turnover (102.7%), profit (187.2%), and bet count (196.6%).
“Taken together, the first year demonstrated that scale and stability are not opposing forces — broad coverage, official data, and engagement-focused features directly contributed to growth across turnover, player numbers, and betting activity”, said Yevhenii Ilchenko, Head of Sports at DATA.BET. “We built the vertical on the right foundations from the first, and the numbers reflect that. “

DATA.BET launches in-stream betting overlay for mobile live streams
Frontend integration keeps markets, odds and bet slip inside the broadcast; feature debuts with virtual sports.
DATA.BET has launched In-Stream Betting, a frontend overlay that lets viewers place bets directly within a mobile live stream without leaving the broadcast. The company said markets, odds and the bet slip are accessible inside the stream.
DATA.BET positions the feature around mobile usage, saying mobile devices account for the majority of bets placed and that share is growing. The overlay is on-demand, allowing users to switch it on or off during the stream.
The supplier said the component is designed to reduce drop-off during live betting by removing the need to navigate away from the stream. DATA.BET claims this can support stronger engagement, higher retention, longer sessions and improved lifetime value.
According to the company, In-Stream Betting integrates at the frontend level and requires no backend implementation, with availability now “upon the clients’ request.”
In-Stream Betting launches first with virtual sports, with plans to expand to additional verticals. “In-Stream Betting is designed to meet players where their attention already is — inside the broadcast,” said Rostyslav Likhtin, Head of Product at DATA.BET. “For our clients, this means an additional engagement layer that is easy to implement but delivers real results in terms of retention and player satisfaction. Having everything on one screen cuts the time it takes to place a bet and that kind of frictionless experience is exactly what builds long-term player loyalty toward the operator.”
