Bragg Gaming Live in Connecticut with Launch of Spin Games RGS Featuring Popular iGaming Content

Connecticut debut with DraftKings and Mashantucket-Pequot Tribe marks iGaming supplier’s entry into fourth U.S. state 

Bragg Gaming Group announced that its wholly-owned B2B gaming technology and content provider, Spin Games, is now live in Connecticut with its Remote Game Server (“RGS”). The Spin Games RGS and an initial library of 11 titles are available to players in the state via the DraftKings and Mashantucket-Pequot Tribe iGaming sites. Among the first top-performing titles featured on the Spin Games RGS are licensed content such as Ripley’s Big Wheel and Galaxy Gaming’s extremely popular 21 + 3® Progressive Blackjack. Also in the line-up are Bragg internal studio titles such as Triple Jewels, Get Hot and Gypsy Riches.

With its debut in Connecticut, Bragg is now live with the Spin Games’ RGS and its casino content in four U.S. states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Bragg expects to roll out further exclusive games, including from its proprietary Atomic Slot Lab studio as well from third parties, in multiple regulated U.S. states this year.

H2 Gambling estimates that regulated interactive casino games will generate US$215 million in Connecticut in 2022, with that estimate increasing to US$320 million in 2026.

Connecticut regulated online gambling in 2021, with two tribes – the Mohegan tribe and Mashantucket Pequot Tribe – permitted to offer online casino gaming off reservation. These two tribes have since partnered with a number of operators who now provide content to players across the state.

Bragg Gaming Group, a global B2B content-driven iGaming technology provider, reported record financial results for the first quarter of 2024.

Matevž Mazij, Chief Executive Officer for Bragg, commented: “We carried our strong momentum in 2023 into the first quarter, delivering robust growth that underscores the ongoing success of our efforts to transform Bragg into a content-focused iGaming solutions provider across expanding North American and European markets. Year-over-year revenue increased by 4.2% to EUR 23.8 million, largely propelled by organic growth from our current client base, the addition of new customers in multiple jurisdictions, and impressive results from our in-house Wild Streak Gaming casino games studio.

“Although gross profit and Adjusted EBITDA saw modest decreases in the first quarter stemming from the extension and renegotiation of our agreement with Entain Plc to provide our PAM platform to BetCity.nl through 2025, we maintain a strong belief in our ability to achieve long-term growth and profitability. Our proprietary and exclusive third-party content continues to gain ground with an increasing number of top-tier operators globally, and we introduced a total of 19 new exclusive titles worldwide in the first quarter of 2024.

“Additionally, as we continue to make encouraging progress on our strategic alternatives review process, it’s important to emphasize that we are operating the business as usual and remain laser-focused on capitalizing on growth opportunities.

“With that in mind and in response to the increasing demand and growth in the iGaming marketplace, subsequent to quarter end, we took two significant steps to further fuel our growth initiatives. First, we secured a USD 7.0 million investment through a promissory note, enhancing our balance sheet flexibility as we continue to execute our strategy and explore strategic alternatives to maximize shareholder value.

“Second, we bolstered our leadership team with the appointment of Neill Whyte as our new Chief Commercial Officer. With over 18 years of iGaming experience and a proven track record of driving growth through successful commercial partnerships, Neill’s expertise will be invaluable as we leverage our extensive content and product portfolio to expand in existing and new markets. Bragg Gaming Appoints Renowned iGaming Executive Neill Whyte as Chief Commercial Officer

Bragg Gaming Group, a global iGaming technology and content provider, announced that Neill Whyte has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective 1st May 2024, establishing a new global commercial structure at the Company and bolstering its leadership team.

Whyte brings over 18 years of experience in the iGaming sector, most recently in the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Digital Gaming Corporation’s (DGC), B2B iGaming Division. After joining DGC in early 2020, he was responsible for the commercially successful launch and growth of its content distribution business in the US.

Prior to joining DGC, Whyte held multiple positions in the gaming industry including as Head of Business Development at Isle of Man-based iGaming specialist Apricot Investments, as Board Member at Swedish iGaming product and Lottery content distributor Genera Networks, and in various senior roles over eleven years at leading iGaming content supplier Microgaming, including as Head of Product Channels.

In his new role with Bragg, Whyte will be tasked with leading the Company’s global commercial teams to drive growth across all of the Company’s product verticals which include proprietary online casino content from its Atomic Slot Lab, Indigo Magic and Wild Streak Gaming studios, exclusive content from content partners, HUB a leading casino content aggregation platform, Fuze player engagement, as well as its award-winning player account management (PAM) platform and turnkey solutions.

Bragg Announces US$7 Million Secured Note Financing

Bragg Gaming Group Inc., a global B2B gaming technology and content provider, announced the issuance of a secured promissory note in the principal amount of US$7 million (the “Note”) to certain entities controlled by Doug Fallon, Managing Director of Group Content of the Company and the Founder of Nevada-based Wild Streak Gaming. The Note matures on April 25, 2025 and bears interest at an annual rate of 14%, payable quarterly.

“This financing provides the Company’s balance sheet with additional flexibility as we continue to review strategic alternatives for maximizing shareholder value and execute against our strategy,” said Matevž Mazij, Chief Executive Officer. “We would also like to thank The Lind Partners for their cooperation in providing a waiver consenting to the Note funding”.

“After reporting another consecutive full year of strong revenue, gross profit and Adjusted EBITDA growth in 2023, we are exceptionally well placed to capitalize on our in-demand content, product and technology verticals in major iGaming markets in North America, Europe and LatAm. From our market-leading player account management (“PAM”) platform and turnkey solutions to our unique casino content aggregation offering with Fuze™ promotional functionality and player journey management, as well as our ever-growing exclusive content portfolio, our product strategies are refined for each market we operate in.”

The Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”) has conditionally approved the issuance of the Note. The Company may use the net proceeds from the Note for general working capital purposes and strategic initiatives.
