GlobalBet brings Rob Dowling onboard as CCO and opens a new HQ in Vienna
GlobalBet makes a few giant leaps in the last quarter of 2021 as it appoints Rob Dowling as CCO and further solidifies its growth strategy by opening a new headquarters in Vienna’s newest business district.
This move will help consolidate the company’s new strategy to create an experienced management board that will reinvigorate the company and reaffirm its position as a global leader in the supply of Virtual Sports and upcoming gaming products. Coincidentally, GlobalBet has also relaunched its new PRO Series Virtual Football product as a first in the market that has real player movements and renders.
The Vienna opening was held on 21st October 2021, where GlobalBet’s office staff from various countries got together to have productive workshops and toast with some global clients to celebrate the company’s bright future.
Daniel Grabher, GlobalBet’s CEO, has also announced that Robert Dowling joins the company as the new Chief Commercial Officer who will oversee the development and commercial restructuring of the 17-year-old market brand in the gaming industry.

IGT Modernizes Central Lottery System for LOTTO Thüringen in Germany via Seven-Year Contract Extension
International Game Technology PLC announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Services Limited, has signed a seven-year contract with the Thuringian State Lottery (“LOTTO Thüringen”) in Germany to deploy its retail central system technology, Aurora™, and related software upgrades. The contract term will begin upon go-live of the new platform, planned for March 2026.
An integral part of OMNIA™, IGT’s player-centric, omnichannel solution for lotteries, Aurora helps drive lottery innovation and profitability. The platform will provide intuitive, user-friendly applications, tools and reporting capabilities which will handle all of LOTTO Thüringen’s transaction processing, game management and back-office operations.
