ESPORTS AWARDS NAMES MAKE-A-WISH AS ITS OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNER

The Esports Awards, the most prestigious night in the esports calendar, is excited to reveal Make-A-Wish as its Official Charity Partner for 2021. The partnership will see the Esports Awards and Make-A-Wish work closely together on a whole host of activities including charity auctions, live streams, with lots more to be announced in the coming months.
This year the Esports Awards will return to the Esports Stadium Arlington, Texas on November 20th where it will celebrate and honour every corner of the industry on the biggest night in the esports calendar. The Esports Awards will work on a charity campaign in the run up to the awards to encourage its community to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish.
âWhen Make-A-Wish explained that gaming-related wishes had seen an increase we knew that we wanted to help facilitate as many wishes as possible. The Esports Awards aims to bring the esports and gaming industry community together under one roof and we are hoping to provide these incredibly brave young people with a fantastic experience and the opportunity to meet their heroes. We have lots planned in the coming months and we look forward to helping raise as much funding as we can,â said Michael Ashford, CEO, Esports Awards.

Esports World Cup Foundation Announces Strategic Partnership with Tencent

Partnership to drive EWCâs expansion in China, leveraging Tencent E-sportsâ networks and expertise to connect Chinese esports with EWCâs global ecosystem
The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) announced a partnership with Tencent, making Tencent E-sports the EWCFâs strategic partner in China to drive the expansion of the Esports World Cupâs presence in the region. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the EWCFâs purpose to unite global esports fans under one competitive umbrella and underscores its commitment to integrating the worldâs most important and rapidly growing esports market into the Esports World Cup platform. The agreement was formalized at the Empower Esports Worldwide Series â The Esports Operation and Technology Session in Shenzhen, China.
The collaboration will establish a dedicated Development Team to enhance EWCâs visibility, engagement, and industry collaboration in China, while leveraging EWCâs and Tencent E-sportsâ networks and expertise to connect Chinese esports with EWCâs global ecosystem. Tencent E-sports will provide marketing expertise, strategic consulting, and operational support to deliver diverse content and experiences.

ESIC Implemented its Anti-doping Testing Programme at IEM Katowice 2025

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) implemented its comprehensive anti-doping testing program at IEM Katowice 2025, organised by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG). Conducted at EFGâs request, this initiative reinforced the commitment of both organisations to maintaining the highest standards of competitive integrity in esports.
ESICâs anti-doping procedures, carried out in accordance with the ESIC Anti-Doping Code, ensured that all participating competitors at IEM Katowice adhered to globally recognised best practices. The programme featured advanced testing protocols, thorough monitoring and rigorous enforcement measures, all designed to uphold fair competition.
âAt ESIC, our mission is to protect the integrity of the esports ecosystem. By deploying our anti-doping testing at IEM Katowice 2025, we reaffirmed our dedication to supporting event organizers like EFG in hosting competitions where athletes compete responsibly and ethically,â Stephen Hanna, Chief Executive Officer of ESIC, said.
Over the past few years, ESIC has administered more than 700 anti-doping tests at major esports events, including those hosted by EFG. This extensive experience further cements ESICâs reputation for providing industry-leading services that prioritise player welfare, competitive fairness and a culture of transparency.

New partnership will see Kambiâs Esports division deliver its full suite of esports products, including odds via Kambiâs Odds Feed+ API, to Kindredâs in-house sportsbook
