Software developer will be renamed Stakelogic Serbia with the division moving into new offices in Belgrade later this year as slot provider strengthens in-house capabilities

Stakelogic, one of the most in-demand online casino content creators in the world, has acquired Serbia-based software developer Smart&Applied DOO in order to further enhance and grow its in-house game development capacity.

Smart&Applied was founded by Igor Marinkovic as a game development studio. The company has been working with Stakelogic for the past three years, making it the ideal acquisition target for the fast-growing slot developer.

Following the acquisition, Smart&Applied will be rebranded to Stakelogic Serbia with Marinkovic appointed as General Manager of the division. The company will also move into a new, state-of-the-art office in the centre of Belgrade later this year.

Stakelogic is responsible for some of the most popular online casino content in the market with its games now live across more than 500 operators around the world. Last year it released 48 classic slots and video slots, many of which can be found in the top position of casino game lobbies.

The developer is ISO 27001 certified, and its games are certified in key markets including the UK, Malta and Romania.
