Solaire Resort and Casino is the first integrated resort in Manila, Philippines located in Entertainment City. Since opening its doors in 2013, Solaire remains to be the leading property among its peers, winning several distinctions from prestigious award giving bodies. This includes being recognized as the Best Regional Asian Integrated Resort in the 2019 G2E Asia Awards, as well as the coveted Forbes Travel Guide 5 Star award which the resort has received for four consecutive years since 2017. Part of the resort’s operational excellence includes consistent upgrades to its facilities to provide the best gaming experience to its guests.
TCSJOHNHUXLEY has enjoyed a strong partnership with Solaire for many years and we are proud to have been chosen to supply gaming equipment for the upgraded area. This consisted of key products such as Ora Curve Baccarat Displays, featuring striking LED’s on top the display that indicate the results of the previous 8 games to make it easier for customers to follow recent trends from a distance.
Blaze LED table technology has been leading the way for some years with patented in-game animations and eye-catching graphics. The casino installed Blaze Sicbo tables fitted with Automatic Dice recognition (ADR) which bring added security to the game, and Blaze Money Wheel tables accompanied by a custom LED Money Wheel, that provides a show-stopping centerpiece on the gaming floor. These latest products in the Blaze range feature high definition graphics that enhance the player experience with stunning visuals as well as ensuring game results are clearly and easily seen by players, gaming and surveillance staff.
Wallace Canlas, Director Floor Operations Table Games commented, “It has been a pleasure working with TCSJOHNHUXLEY. They continue to supply relevant machines for our market, as well as customised equipment only in Solaire, while maintaining the highest of standards which we have come to expect over our many years of partnership.”

Macau Government Extends Lottery Concession of Macau Slot Until 5 June 2026

The Macau government has extended the lottery concession of Macau Slot Co Ltd for one year until 5 June 2026.
The concession renewal was published in the official gazette on Wednesday. Further extensions may be granted, subject to mutual agreement between the Macau government and Macau Slot.
As part of the renewal terms, Macau Slot is required to gradually reduce its number of non-resident employees and actively collaborate with the government to recruit and retain local talent.
Earlier this month, the government held a meeting with Macau Slot representatives to discuss the extension. According to the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), the city’s industry regulator, Macau Slot committed to cutting 35% of its non-local, non-skilled workforce—equivalent to 26 positions—by the first quarter of 2026. The company also pledged to make further reductions to its foreign labour quota in the future. Currently, non-local staff account for 15% of the total workforce at Macau Slot.
“Over the past year, despite fluctuations in the macroeconomic environment and slower economic recovery in neighbouring regions, the local economy has remained relatively stable under the guidance of the Macau SAR government’s policies,” Macau Slot said in a statement.
“Looking ahead, we are committed to further diversifying our sports betting products to meet customer demand, while upgrading our information technology infrastructure to stay current and deliver more comprehensive sports betting services.”
