HAWKS TALON GC TO CONTINUE REMOTE GAMEPLAY AS PART OF 2020 SEASON
Club to Play in Six Games Throughout Next Four Weeks of Regular Season
The NBA 2K League today announced the remainder of the 2020 regular season which includes an extension of remote gameplay. Hawks Talon Gaming Club, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, will return to the regular season on Monday, June 29 with a best-of-three series against Warriors Gaming Squad, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. Throughout the next four weeks, Hawks Talon will compete in six different matchups. Currently, Hawks Talon sits at a 3-3 record after the first six weeks of remote gameplay.
“We are excited to return to the regular season,” said Hawks Talon GC Head Coach Wesley Acuff. “Each of these next matchups are crucial for us as we move forward during this unprecedented time.”
Each remote match will continue to be played in a best-of-three format, which will allow the NBA 2K League broadcast to switch between games in real-time and give fans more opportunities to experience the league’s most exciting moments. Each of these three-game-series victory will represent one regular-season win, and each three-game-series loss will represent one regular-season loss.

After the conclusion of the regular season, the 2020 playoffs tip off from Aug. 19-22 and the NBA 2K League Finals will take place Saturday, Aug. 29. All 23 NBA 2K League teams will participate in regular-season gameplay from their local markets with games continuing to stream on ESPN’s digital platforms and the league’s Twitch and YouTube channels.

Play’n GO announces partnership with Canadian operator Loto-Québec

Court Decision Upholds iGaming Ontario’s Model
iGaming Ontario has welcomed the decision of the Ontario Superior Court, which found that iGaming Ontario’s model is consistent with the Criminal Code and that iGaming Ontario is conducting and managing igaming in the province.
“We have always been confident in our model and are pleased that the court has ruled in our favour, and that Ontarians can continue to play with confidence in our regulated igaming market,” said Martha Otton, Executive Director of iGaming Ontario.
“Ontario’s model meets the requirements and contributes to the public good by protecting players, their data and their funds, while helping to fund priority public services in Ontario, and bringing well-paid, high-tech jobs and economic development to Ontario,” Otton added.
In dismissing the application brought forward by the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK), the Superior Court found that iGaming Ontario is the “operating mind” behind Ontario’s competitive igaming market in accordance with the conduct and manage requirements of the Criminal Code.
iGaming Ontario will continue to conduct and manage igaming as it has since the launch of the regulated market on April 4, 2022.

Bragg Gaming Appoints Renowned iGaming Executive Neill Whyte as Chief Commercial Officer
Bragg Gaming Group, a global iGaming technology and content provider, announced that Neill Whyte has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective 1st May 2024, establishing a new global commercial structure at the Company and bolstering its leadership team.
