Genius Sports has announced a direct integration between its official Moment Engine and Magnite, the largest independent sell-side advertising platform.

The integration embeds Genius Sports’ verified, real-time sports signals directly into Magnite’s ClearLine platform for curation and activation. Through this integration, official in-game moments can be activated across premium CTV and digital inventory transacted through Magnite.

As live sports remain one of the few environments delivering mass, simultaneous attention, the ability to synchronise advertising and game action redefines how live sports inventory is authenticated, executed and measured.

The partnership reinforces Genius Sports’ role as the control layer connecting official league data, fan identity and intent data, and advertising execution, to efficiently and effectively monetize fans.

Genius Sports’ Moment Engine identifies meaningful in-game events as they occur and converts them into verified advertising signals that activate natively as Deals within the Magnite platform. Powered exclusively by official league data and enriched by the Genius Fan Graph of more than 250 million US consumers, the system pairs authenticated sports moments with deterministic fan identity.

During March Madness, for example, a decisive late-game scoring moment captured through official NCAA data is instantly converted into an authenticated advertising trigger inside ClearLine. That trigger activates a pre-configured Deal aligned to relevant fan audiences across premium CTV inventory, within seconds.

Because the signal is derived from official league data rather than delayed or probabilistic feeds, advertisers gain scalable, real-time access to peak engagement windows within their existing programmatic media buying workflows.

By synchronising authenticated league data with deterministic fan identity inside scaled SSP infrastructure, Genius Sports shifts live sports advertising from contextual approximation to authenticated execution. The result is greater precision and increased value for premium inventory.

These real-time signals complement Magnite’s made-for-live-streaming capabilities, including Live Scheduler, the industry’s first standardized framework to plan, activate, and measure live CTV advertising. By embedding official sports triggers directly within ClearLine, advertisers can align messaging with the pace of the game without relying on external overlays or inferred data sources, delivering differentiated access to premium live sports environments.

The solution is expected to be available in time for the 2026 NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, providing brands scaled access to authenticated live sports signals during one of the most valuable advertising windows of the year.

Upon closing of the previously announced acquisition of Legend, Genius Sports will expand the Moment Engine with additional fan audiences and engagement signals from Legend’s digital sports and gaming media network. Combined, these capabilities will help brands and media owners activate around live moments with measurable outcomes, supporting participation-driven monetization across the fan journey.

LIGA MX, Polymarket and Genius Sports announced a new agreement that will see Polymarket, the world’s largest prediction market, become an official sponsor of LIGA MX in the US territory, with Genius Sports providing official data and integrity information-sharing services underpinning the partnership.

Under the agreement, Polymarket will serve as the official and exclusive prediction market partner of LIGA MX in the US, spanning league competitions including Campeón de Campeones, the annual match between the champions of the Liga MX Apertura and Clausura tournaments, scheduled for July 25, 2026, in Carson, California.

Liga MX’s Official Data, Streaming and Integrity Partner, Genius Sports, will provide Polymarket with official sports data to support the creation and settlement of related sports prediction market contracts.

Verified official data from Genius Sports, whose GeniusIQ platform operates across every Liga MX stadium, serves as the source of truth for Liga MX market settlement on Polymarket, so contracts resolve against authoritative league data. Polymarket also adheres to Genius Sports’ integrity information-sharing processes, which give leagues greater visibility into related market activity. These efforts reinforce Polymarket’s integrity framework, which includes on-chain monitoring with Chainalysis and a next-generation sports integrity platform developed with Palantir Technologies and TWG AI.

Genius Sports Limited has delivered another season of strong results across its football trading services ahead of the World Cup, with Edge driving a 16.6% increase in football margins for sportsbook operators during the 2025/26 domestic season.

Edge, Genius Sports’ automated margin optimisation software, continued to deliver meaningful margin uplift for sportsbooks throughout the campaign. By adjusting each operator’s odds based on liabilities across all market-types on a fixture-level, Edge margins across major competitions saw substantial growth, including the Champions League (+34%), Premier League (+22%), La Liga (+21%), Italy’s Serie A (+17%) and Ligue 1 (+16%).

Official data partnerships continued to underpin market-leading uptime across elite football competitions. The Premier League delivered 98% overall uptime with 158 matches exceeding 99% uptime, providing an average of five minutes and 19 seconds of additional availability per match compared to alternative suppliers. Italy’s Serie A achieved 97% uptime, representing a 3% improvement on the previous season. Ligue 1 also recorded uptime levels above 95%.

Throughout the 2025/26 season, Genius Sports continued to invest heavily in football trading innovation. This included migrating all 89,000 in-play football events to new Monte Carlo simulation models, enhancing Match State data with player-level information and expanding its player proposition market offering.

Genius Sports has further expanded its football offering, delivering player proposition markets including shots, shots on target, score or assist, fouls and goalkeeper saves across pre-match, in-play and betbuilder, with additional markets such as tackles and offsides set to launch before the 2026/27 season. The company also introduced a new stoppage-time predictor designed to deliver sharper pricing during the closing stages of matches, following a season that saw a record 139 injury-time goals scored.

BetVision, Genius Sports’ interactive live streaming solution, continued to demonstrate strong engagement throughout the season. Across key football competitions, BetVision delivered a 22% increase in customer retention compared to standard streaming experiences, including a 53% increase across Brazil’s Serie A, a 35% increase across the Turkish Super Lig and a 20% increase across Italy’s Serie A. Ligue 1 viewers also spent 22% longer watching content through the platform.

As operators prepare for the biggest football betting event in the world, the results highlight how Genius Sports’ football trading service continues to drive profitability, improve market availability and enhance customer engagement.
