Genius Sports Integrates Moment Engine with Magnite Platform
Genius Sports has announced a direct integration between its official Moment Engine and Magnite, the largest independent sell-side advertising platform.
The integration embeds Genius Sports’ verified, real-time sports signals directly into Magnite’s ClearLine platform for curation and activation. Through this integration, official in-game moments can be activated across premium CTV and digital inventory transacted through Magnite.
As live sports remain one of the few environments delivering mass, simultaneous attention, the ability to synchronise advertising and game action redefines how live sports inventory is authenticated, executed and measured.
The partnership reinforces Genius Sports’ role as the control layer connecting official league data, fan identity and intent data, and advertising execution, to efficiently and effectively monetize fans.
Genius Sports’ Moment Engine identifies meaningful in-game events as they occur and converts them into verified advertising signals that activate natively as Deals within the Magnite platform. Powered exclusively by official league data and enriched by the Genius Fan Graph of more than 250 million US consumers, the system pairs authenticated sports moments with deterministic fan identity.
During March Madness, for example, a decisive late-game scoring moment captured through official NCAA data is instantly converted into an authenticated advertising trigger inside ClearLine. That trigger activates a pre-configured Deal aligned to relevant fan audiences across premium CTV inventory, within seconds.
Because the signal is derived from official league data rather than delayed or probabilistic feeds, advertisers gain scalable, real-time access to peak engagement windows within their existing programmatic media buying workflows.
By synchronising authenticated league data with deterministic fan identity inside scaled SSP infrastructure, Genius Sports shifts live sports advertising from contextual approximation to authenticated execution. The result is greater precision and increased value for premium inventory.
These real-time signals complement Magnite’s made-for-live-streaming capabilities, including Live Scheduler, the industry’s first standardized framework to plan, activate, and measure live CTV advertising. By embedding official sports triggers directly within ClearLine, advertisers can align messaging with the pace of the game without relying on external overlays or inferred data sources, delivering differentiated access to premium live sports environments.
The solution is expected to be available in time for the 2026 NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, providing brands scaled access to authenticated live sports signals during one of the most valuable advertising windows of the year.
Upon closing of the previously announced acquisition of Legend, Genius Sports will expand the Moment Engine with additional fan audiences and engagement signals from Legend’s digital sports and gaming media network. Combined, these capabilities will help brands and media owners activate around live moments with measurable outcomes, supporting participation-driven monetization across the fan journey.

The deal extension is part of a comprehensive agreement between two companies that are setting industry standards for the speed, accuracy and depth of their online sports betting offerings. The new partnership also sees FIRST become the official betting partner of Genius Sports, with the group set to recommend FIRST – Best in Sports to operators seeking fully-managed sports betting solutions.

The National Football League Expands and Extends Strategic Partnership with Genius Sports in Multi-Year Deal
- Genius Sports continues as the NFL’s exclusive distributor of official data feeds and watch & bet, powering Genius Sports’ BetVision product
- Expanded partnership includes certain global digital advertising within BetVision as well as the NFL’s owned and operated digital platforms which is available to advertisers via the Genius Sports FANHub platform
- The new extended deal will run through the end of the 2029 NFL season
The National Football League and Genius Sports Limited have agreed to a multi-year extension and expansion of their existing strategic technology partnership to power the next generation of NFL fan experiences through official data and video distribution.
Genius Sports will remain the NFL’s exclusive distributor of real-time, official play-by-play statistics, proprietary Next Gen Stats (“NGS”) data and the League’s official sports betting data feed to media companies and sports betting operators globally.
In addition to exclusively distributing official NFL data, Genius Sports will continue as the sole supplier of official NFL watch and bet low latency live games to sportsbooks internationally and will now exclusively represent the in-game advertising inventory. Genius Sports continues to be an official reseller of the NFL’s international owned and operated advertising inventory and the NFL’s legalized sports betting advertising inventory in the US, all leveraging Genius Sports’ proprietary FANHub platform. As part of the agreement, Genius Sports and the NFL will also collaborate on further activation opportunities with FANHub.
The expansion of the partnership will also see the NFL and Genius Sports powering ground-breaking innovations across the NFL ecosystem. In 2023, the partnership launched BetVision, the world’s first immersive sports betting streaming solution for local and national NFL low latency live games on phone and tablet in the U.S, as well as the EA SPORTS Madden NFL Cast in 2024, a first-of-its kind, fully branded live broadcast. GeniusIQ, Genius Sports’ next generation sports data and AI platform, will continue to deliver breakthrough solutions across betting, advertising, broadcast and fan experiences for millions of NFL fans.

Los Angeles Rams launch Next Gen Stats-powered, in-stadium highlights through new collaboration with Genius Sports
The Los Angeles Rams (“Rams”) have collaborated with Genius Sports Limited to provide their fans with augmented, data-driven in-game highlights within SoFi Stadium.
During every Rams home game, immersive highlights leveraging the NFL’s proprietary Next Gen Stats (“NGS”) data will be displayed on SoFi Stadium’s iconic Infinity Screen.
