IGT Awarded Contract for VLT Central Monitoring System by Ohio Lottery Commission
International Game Technology PLC (IGT) announced that it has won a competitive bidding process to provide the Ohio Lottery Commission’s video lottery terminal (VLT) central monitoring system, with a contract effective May 31, 2024 through June 30, 2033. The agreement includes an option for Ohio to renew the contract for up to two additional one-year terms.
Under the terms of the agreement, IGT will provide its advanced Intelligen central monitoring system hardware and software, with continual monitoring and support for more than 10,000 video lottery terminal machines distributed throughout seven racinos across Ohio: Belterra Park Cincinnati, Eldorado Scioto Downs, Jack Thistledown Racino, Hollywood Gaming Dayton Raceway, Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley Race Course, MGM Northfield Park, and Miami Valley Gaming.

IGT announced that its Wheel of Fortune Slots, Powerbucks, and MegaJackpots games awarded four momentous jackpots in January.
Lucky slots players won the following million-dollar-plus jackpots last month:
• On January 5, a Wheel of Fortune Slots player won $1,132,199 playing Wheel of Fortune Super Cash Link at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Miss.
• On January 8, a Powerbucks slots player won CA$1,657,823 playing Whitney Houston Powerbucks slots at Lake City Casino Vernon in British Columbia, Canada.

IGT has announced that Island View Casino Resort is now live with IGT’s PlaySports retail sports betting technology and services. Patrons at both Island View and Beach View Casino Resorts in Gulfport, Miss. have the opportunity place a variety of sports wagers via the IGT PlaySports platform and utilize self-service betting kiosks, while the IGT Trading Advisory Services team will help the casino streamline operations, personalize offers, and localize the casinos’ betting menus.
The upgrade to Island View Casino Resort’s sports wagering infrastructure extends IGT PlaySports’ footprint in Mississippi, where it supplies its sports betting technology to multiple operators throughout the state.
