Jackpot Digital Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic multiplayer dealerless poker tables, announced that it has completed the installation of one Jackpot Blitz casino machine at Gray Wolf Peak Casino, located in Missoula, Montana.

Currently, the Company has over 70 Jackpot Blitz tables in the field. The Company’s order book continues to grow and now includes more than 90 additional Jackpot Blitz tables, an increase of approximately 120% over the current installation base. The Company is continuing to execute on the installation of these tables at tribal and commercial casinos, mostly in North America and certain international jurisdictions. Furthermore, the Company is in discussions with many casino groups to expand its order book.

Jake Kalpakian, CEO of Jackpot, said: “we are excited to have our next generation Jackpot Blitz installed at Gray Wolf Peak Casino. We continue to execute our plan to install our order book. Our stakeholders can expect to see more installations and orders as we move through Q2, throughout 2024 and beyond.”

In addition to Jackpot’s cruise ship customers, which include Carnival Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America, AIDA, and Costa Cruises, Jackpot has announced land-based installations or orders in several provinces and states in Canada and the US, including California, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Oregon, Saskatchewan, U.S. Virgin Islands, Washington, as well as several international jurisdictions.

MGM Resorts International Announces Agreement to Acquire Tipico’s U.S. Sportsbook

MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) (“MGM Resorts” or the “Company”) today announced that its subsidiary, LeoVegas Group (“LeoVegas”), has entered into an agreement to acquire the product and technology platform constituting the U.S sportsbook and online casino from Tipico Group Ltd (“Tipico”).

This acquisition is the second major investment by LeoVegas, following the acquisition of game developer Push Gaming in 2023. The acquisition will allow LeoVegas to operate a purpose-built proprietary sportsbook across all international markets and brands, with the exception of those exclusive to the BetMGM JV, with a focus on a clean, fast consumer experience with top-class product, pricing and functionality.

Tipico will wind down its U.S. operations prior to the closing of the acquisition. As part of the transaction, LeoVegas will acquire certain of Tipico’s U.S. facing management, technology and trading teams across the U.S., Colombia and Europe.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024.
