Regency Casino Tirana has extended its partnership with EGT. Recently, the Bulgarian manufacturer installed its casino management system Spider on all 500 gaming machines available in the prominent gaming establishment. Currently, 3 modules are activated: the Accounting, Security and alarm and Jackpot modules.

Thanks to the Accounting module the casino receives daily and jurisdictional reports, real-time meters view, and can also take advantage of the custom reports builder option, which allows settings to be made for customised reports tailored to the client’s specific needs.

The Security and alarm module of Spider CMS offers real-time events reporting, real-time alarms, as well as detailed separation of user access.

The Jackpot module supports multigame and multidenomination progressive jackpots, standard and time-based mystery jackpots. It enables the operator to set its own schedule for players’ participation and includes a Multimedia Control Centre with full HD graphic and video panels, interactive jackpot triggering frames and advertising videos.

“We are very glad that Regency Casino Tirana trusted us once again. I believe that Spider CMS will contribute to the easy and effective management of the gaming hall’s daily activities and will further enhance the gaming experience of its visitors,” Biserka Draganova, Sales Manager for the Balkans and Egypt at EGT, said.

Regency Casino management also gave a positive assessment of its collaboration with EGT. They emphasised that the excellent performance of the gaming machines and software of the Bulgarian company, among which the General cabinets and the bestseller Bell Link stand out, convinced them to try out the casino management system Spider as well. They added that they are planning to install more EGT’s gaming products in the near future.

As the new academic year begins, students at the Technical University of Sofia have been presented with a significant upgrade to their learning environment: a fully modernised lecture hall where Bulgaria’s future engineers and IT specialists will be educated. The renovation was actualised through an investment of nearly BGN 400,000 by Amusnet, recognised as the leading software company in 2024. The initiative represents a strategic investment to shape the next generation of engineers and IT specialists to meet evolving market demands.

At an official ceremony, the university’s Rector, Prof. Georgi Venkov, and Amusnet’s Chief Executive Officer, Ivo Georgiev, formally launched the academic year in the new hall. Together, the two parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a framework for future joint initiatives, including hackathons, open lectures and career days.

“We believe that investment in education is a direct investment in the future. With this renovation, we are not merely establishing a modern academic setting; we are investing in the human capital that will drive our country’s technological progress,” commented Ivo Georgiev, CEO of Amusnet.

Rector Prof. Georgi Venkov added that the modernisation is “a critical step in the university’s commitment to providing its students with contemporary facilities for learning and development, in synergy with the needs of the business sector.”

The renovated auditorium now adheres to contemporary European standards, featuring a modern climate control system, high-efficiency lighting, multimedia equipment and 252 new seats. The space has been transformed into a comfortable and functional environment, integrating convenience and technology to support a high-quality educational curriculum.

This initiative is a key component of Amusnet’s comprehensive strategy to support the educational sector. In 2024, the company donated servers to the Technical University of Sofia and the Technical University of Gabrovo to modernize their infrastructure, ensuring the availability of advanced technological resources for academic and research activities.

The partnership between Amusnet and the Technical University of Sofia aims to bridge the gap between the corporate and academic spheres, offering students higher-level learning conditions and opportunities for professional advancement.
