Salsa Technology announces new partnership with MIRACL to further enhance betting user experiences
Salsa Technology, one of the leading igaming providers in Latin America, today announces details of a new partnership with passwordless, single-step multi-factor authentication (MFA) provider, MIRACL. This provides even smoother login experiences for their online customers, while meeting and exceeding the requirements of new legislation, expected in 2023.
Salsa Technology is an established and highly regarded igaming provider in Latin America. In addition to supporting licensed operators in regulated markets across the region, they also provide a modular and a fully integrated casino platform. Proprietary games can be created on demand through their Salsa Studio. Working with start-ups to large organisations, Salsa Technology provides solutions and tech to match a range of business models tailored to meet the needs of their partners.
MIRACL is the world’s only passwordless, single-step multi-factor authentication. A two-second PIN login is all that is needed to authenticate. No passwords. No data and no second device. With unprecedented statistics for login’s – 99.9% are successful. This guarantees a seamless login experience for individuals betting – enabling a friction-free experience from entering a platform and placing the bet.
As legislation from New Jersey in the US and in Ontario in Canada commits gaming companies to use MFA on their platforms, it is a directive that is anticipated to spread throughout the gaming sector, with Latin America set to follow suit any time soon. So this new partnership by Salsa Technology will ensure it is well placed as this vital requirement spreads globally, enhancing security at login – without compromising on convenience.
Peter Nolte, CEO at Salsa Technologies comments, “Over the years Salsa Technologies has invested heavily in meeting the standards set by other regulators with the goal of becoming the first operator to obtain a licence in Brazil once the new regulator framework is established. With that in mind, Salsa Technologies has determined that MIRACL’s single-step multi-factor authentication will exceed even the most rigorous standards being imposed by jurisdictions such as New Jersey and Ontario, whilst improving the the user experience and login success of it’s players. Thus announcing this partnership today is hugely enterprising and the right thing to do.”
Rob Griffin, CEO at MIRACL adds, “With New Jersey legislative action insisting upon multi-factor authentication on all gaming platforms, momentum to implement is building fast. Announcing our partnership with Salsa Technologies today showcases how gaming is finally prioritising user logins, commiting to the very best authentication. MIRACL’s single-step MFA is just that – providing the ultimate login, and simply a no-brainer for gaming.”
Additionally, MIRACL is software-based and API-enabled to work from any device or browser. This means a quick and seamless integration with any device or platform being used. The software doesn’t store personal data, passwords or PINs, so it’s fully resistant to remote attacks – with zero security vulnerabilities. The old notion that your account login must trade off between security and usability is no longer true, MIRACL offers both at the same time!
